Tuff Truck for Family
Solid comfort - ind suspension is excellent - tows my 24ft trail very well. VTEC V6 is strong - all truck for a family unless you are a dirt nut. You get Honda Technology, Reliability and Resale - period. So many features and lots of interior room!!
Bought new in Oct 2006 still running strong!
This vehicle just turned 14 and now has 105,000 miles in Florida environment. The issues I have had over the years were basic maintenance with the exception of A/C replacement and driver side power window. I tow a 20 foot bow rider, a trailer with one or two horses, and even a car on a tow dolly. It likes to use a lot more gas doing this so don't plan on trips further than 100 miles. I just changed the transmission fluid which showed only minor shavings, and the rear differential fluid looked fresh and new. Reviews state to not use off road, however, in Florida the only off road is Sand. Works great in soft sand better than most 4WD vehicles as its light with wide tires. Pulls great off wet boat ramps when I have seen large pickups spinning wheels. After 14 years in the hot florida sun, the paint has a nice patina, but absolutely no rust anywhere. I love the tail gate and the in bed storage area. Oh yeah, after this much time parked in the sun, the headliner is held up with tacks, but heck, you cant have everything. :)

Most Reliable Vehicle I have ever owned
This car is the most reliable vehicle I have owned with the exception of our 2002 Taurus which was about the same. We have 209,000 miles logged onto our ridgeline. This car has been across the country and back twice and we have never had a problem. It has been driven back and forth on a four hour trip many times to visit family frequently again with no problem. This engine is one of the most reliable ones ever, and not just in this truck. This engine is found in the Honda Pilot and Odyssey as well, so I am sure that any of these cars would assure you an extremely reliable vehicle.

Truly the best truck I have ever owned
Previously, I have owned 2 Chevrolet (1 truck/ 1 SUV) and one Mazda truck. The Honda Ridgeline has been the best truck I have ever owned, and the quality of the build and design has been just perfect for my life. I have raised a child in this truck, played drums in a band and hauled musical equipment all over Texas, produced 11 films and hauled camera gear to remote locations filming. The trunk, the reconfigurable backseat and the deep and cavernous center console leave so much room for everything you want to bring along for the ride. My wife and I have loved the little tray in the floor just forward of the console because it perfectly holds restaurant "to-go" containers. The slick all weather floor mats are great. The 3.5L engine is a workhorse that just keeps getting it done. I have only paid for filter and oil changes, and for the timing belt replacement and have been over 200,000 miles without issue. The first generation Honda Ridgeline is the most underrated vehicle on the road today.

I love this truck!
If you are looking for a truck that can do it all - go drive the Honda Ridgeline for a day or two. I did & I was sold! Honda has done a great job designing this truck to be so many things. It hauls (I have a boat it hauls w/np), it's a passenger SUV, and you can store an unbelievable amount of items. The back seats flip up creating an enormous amount of room to store items you don't want in the truck bed. Even with the back seats down you have ample storage under the seats which is nice on trips where people in the back can store articles they want to access during the trip. The TRUNK (THE TRUNK!) under the bed is what sold me on this truck - after the ride and many amenities.
