Used 2019 Honda HR-V Consumer Reviews
Great Little SUV!!!
Don't let its small size fool you-the HRV has a LOT of space inside-from legroom to cargo space/solutions-just Fantastic!!! I think the 140 hp engine is just fine in power-I haven't had any issues getting up to speed quickly & no issues with accelerating engine noise-it may be there but it doesn't standout to me at all. It drives well and Fuel economy is Excellent for a SUV. Been getting anywhere from 28-31 mpg depending on more city or highway driving. Love the auto door locks & leather interior on this EXL. Extremely Happy with the HRV!!!

Good potential wasted on puzzling decisions.
Gas pedal vibration is unacceptable. My foot goes numb after about 15-20 minutes of driving. Braking is uncomfortable as it feels like the vehicle wants to throw you through the windshield under even light braking. Gas mileage isn't as good as the EPA estimates show. Driving in a fuel conscious manner to maximize fuel mileage, I am struggling just to hit EPA city. Lesser complaints: the LCD on the instrument cluster is very dated and cluttered. The 5" screen on the LX is absolutely useless. The humorously over-engineered cupholders don't work real well. The Econ button, as far as I can tell, doesn't do anything other than put a green tree on the cluster, I get no better gas mileage with it. The black interior is too black, there just isn't any contrast to the interior colors, it's just a black hole.

Transmission Failure at 85,000 Miles
I purchased a new 2019 AWD HR-V Sport and had it 100% dealer serviced - the transmission failed at 85K miles. I did not purchase any warranty past the 60K mile one but my dealer said that Honda is going to cover the cost if I pitch in $1000 and pay for an alignment. I had no other issues the vehicle up to this point, even the tires are still original. I run this car mostly on the highway, 85K in less than two years, 30mpg average. Love the cargo space. Feels underpowered.

Sweet Ride
Sweet ride with awesome features. It's very reliable. The only thing I'd say is the lack of power. Other than that everything else second to none.
