Poor Paint
Rear shocks were replaced at 24000 miles, tires had normal wear at 24000 miles. However , every tire was splitting apart at the second tread in. The paint on this car was the worst paint of the eight new cars I have owned. The paint chipping was primary on the hood but was not limited to the front of the car. Seen very few fits with this problem but the few I have seen were older and had premature surface rusting. This does not stop the car from getting great gas mileage or getting you from A to B comfortable but will have a great effect on your resale value. For this reason the car was traded in with only 27000 mile and rated low. Traded in on Nissan Altima and have never regretted it. Before buying a Fit test drive an Accord, Camry or Altima. You will get more bang for your bucks!!

Small on outside, but big on inside
It is 2019 and I purchased new so I have had 7 years. No issues or repairs except new tires. Even have original brakes. I like this car because it easily fits in my cramped garage and yet I can fit my bicycle and other gear inside it. I have even transported 8 foot 2x4 lumber in it! Only downside for me is that it lacks a right side arm rest which was annoying so I build my own out of wood. It is also noisy and not good for long trips and doesn't get as good gas mileage as it should. My Corolla is bigger yet gets better mileage. I only average about 32mpg and a small car like this should get 40-50, which my 1989 Chevy Sprint use to get years ago.

I ADORE My Fit! - But the A/C is No Bueño
I've owned my 2012 Fit for 9 years now and it's a great little car. There is great visibility with all the glass and it can literally "FIT" into any parking space. The turn radius is wonderful. The storage inside is amazing and with the seats down, you can camp in the dang thing! My only, ONLY complaint is that on a long car trip in warmer temps (80's-100), the A/C putters out after about 2.5 hours. If you pull over for gas and give it 10 minutes to rest, it usually thaws out and starts working again. You can also switch the A/C button off and just use outside air for that 10 minutes. The A/C at that point just needs a rest. Other than that, I really do love my Fit.
