New 09 Fit
I've had my Fit for about two weeks now. It truly is a "BIG" little car. Amazing how much room is inside and how zippy it is. I think it cools really well in hot sun. I am also pleasantly surprised because I'm getting right around 35 mpg - and that is mainly city driving (75%). I'm very pleased so far with this vehicle and would recommend it to anybody.
What's not to like?
I have been driving my new Fit for over one week and am thrilled with it! I also own a Civic and an Accord and I love my little Fit. It may appear "little" on the outside but the inside is huge. It handles and rides to perfection. It's a high quality vehicle and the gas economy meets and exceeds all expectations. I love the arm rest on the driver side and flexible cargo space in the back. It's got plenty of pick-up and the dashboard gauges and controls are very conveniently located. The 6 speaker Radio has great sound. Honda had a winner with the 2008 model and now they made it even better. What's not to like?

07 to 09 Fit
I had an '07 Fit and was very happy, but there were some design flaws - front window and seating. I recently purchased 09 sport with navi and am IN LOVE. The difference is like comparing a real car to a toy, not that the 07 was bad, it's just the way of all cars, 2nd gen is better than the first. Also, the car talks - how cool is that?
Honda for life
First car was a Honda way back in 1980 and now so is the new one. Traded in my 2002 Civic Coupe. Coupe felt like a car that got me places, Fit is fun. Only have less than 100 km on it, but can see I am going to enjoy this car.
A lot of space in a little car
After owning a used '95 Nissan Altima for many years (and it now costing more to fix than it is worth each year), I decided to purchase a new car. I am very glad I waited for the 2009 Fit. It sounds much better than the 2008 when driving. It is very comfortable to sit in, the stereo sounds great, and the display lights are easy on the eyes. It provides a lot of storage space for a small car. I have to cart my recycle garbage can to a central dump site and occasionally buy large things to cart home (e.g., today, four 4'x 3.75' sheets of plywood). I love that the seats fold up or down to provide the extra space. I purchased the sport only because the base did not have cruise control.
