Used 2018 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
KK-Review
On 3 different occasions, while driving the 2018 Honda CR-V on the interstate highway, it started vibrating, and would not accelerate, burning smell occurred, several warning lights came up on the dashboard. We had to navigate the car from the middle of highway to the shoulder of the highway very abruptly. It was a near death experience as several trucks and cars were traveling on the highway at very fast speeds. After the fixes done by Honda the Vehicle is working as expected for the last 2+ years

Happy with my Honda
Car has a little drift to it when you put it in park, have been told this is normal. The air conditioner seems to have trouble maintaining the temp in the car. The middle console design leaves a lot to be desired. And if you get the factory trunk tray, the lid for the spare tire compartment needs to stay in the lower position, other wise your tray will slid around. Other than that runs like a champ. I was really disappointed with the wear on the original tires, had to replace at 15,000 miles. For the price you pay for the car you would think it would come with a better tire. I hope that the rest of the car holds up better than the factory installed tires.

Gas smell disaster
This car was bought as a retirement car to be owned for many years. Gas smell started at random times. Check of oil revealed more oil volume than full. Smelled gas when checking oil. This car is driven in a four season environment in North Idaho. Cold in the winter. Honda dealership did the recommended service by Honda. It didn't work. Honda Manufacturing said the problem only exists in colder climates (than North Idaho) and refused to do anything further. Make sure to research the gas in the oil issue before buying a CR-V. With 4,000 miles on the car, traded it in because once the gas in the oil problem is known by more potential buyers the trade in value will take a hit.

Avoid Honda and this Clunker CRV
Took my car to dealer in early January 2019 to fix the oil dilution with gas issue but the fix is not working! I still smell gas and the oil level is over the high mark. What's your plan B Honda?

Mid-Size SUV Steals the Show from its Contenders
We purchased the 20118 CR-V AWD Touring model 2 weeks ago, so my only perspective of the vehicle is as a new car. So while I can not speak for its longevity or service history yet, I can say that we are super-pleased with this car and just about everything about it. It's really comfortable to drive, handles very well, offers convenience in just about every way and really has us feeling great about our purchase. The price for the top-of-the-line CR-V was really decent at about $21.9k, and there were only a few dealer-installed extras we put on the vehicle, like all-season mats, mud flaps, a cargo net and door edge guards. Since I use an iPhone, the Apple CarPlay system is terrific although it does also come with Android Entertainment included, as well. LED day running lights add to all the other safety stuff such as lane departure monitor, braking monitor, etc., many of which can be disabled as desired. So, I can update as time progresses, but for now this vehicle is really making our family very happy with our decision to purchase it!
