2017 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD w/Navigation (1.5L 4cyl Turbo CVT)

Amazingly spacious. Handles very well. Excellent gas mileage. 32 mpg average in the mountains of Utah. Navigation is very good with the single exception of recognizing some named locations. Navi is excellent on addresses. The display. This CRV is very comfortable to drive for someone 6'3" and someone 5'4". Excellent value. Cross-shopped against the new VW extended Tiguan (unimpressive) and the Subaru Forester and Outback. The 2017 CRV is totally new and is much longer with much more luggage space than prior CRVs.

Quality and Style

It's only been a month but so far I think it is well built. My grandfather used to tell me the quality of a car can be noticed in the way the doors close and it has a really nice solid feel when you close the doors. It is getting great gas mileage and when you feel like you need some pep all you have to do is shift into the sport mode otherwise leaving it in drive with the economy mode on is sufficient. I love the color blue on it! I hope the new turbo engine and the redesigned body will be reliable for many miles to come if so I will be a very happy camper!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW CR-V EXL AWD

I've had my new 2017 CR-V EXL AWD for one month now. Absolutely love it. I love the new design of the CRV. Very sporty and edgy. Previously I've owned two Honda Pilots since 04 and decided to down size and get better mpg. Recently got 33 mpg on a trip and averaging 25 mpg, with a lot of city driving. Really enjoy driving this vehicle, handles very well. Not going to win any drag races with this CRV, a little sluggish from the start but I knew this going in. Going from my Pilots V6 to this 1.5 four cylinder. Interior is very roomy and luxurious. Considered the RAV4 and Mazda CX5. After a lot of research and reading/video a lot of reviews I went with the CRV. I know I made the right choice. I'm looking forward to owning this vehicle for many years. You can't go wrong with the CRV, it is definitely at the top of it's class. Have owned my CRV-EXL for seven months now. Could not have picked a better vehicle. I still absolutely love this car. Still averaging 25 MPG. Have not had any problems with my CRV. Will go for my first service at 7500 miles. Plenty of cargo room for those vacation trips. Looking forward to seeing how the CRV handles in the snow. Still loving my CRV after 13 months, avg. 27 mpg. No problems in the snow this past winter. One of the best cars I've ever owned It's been one and half years now since buying my 2017 C-RV EXL. Still loving it, everything is going well with it. Would buy it again in a heart beat. Two years plus and have had zero problems with my CRV. It's been almost 4 years and my CRV-EXL is still going strong, The only problem I've had is the original Bridgestone tires didn't last, only 25,000 miles. Replaced with Continental and I can really tell the difference. Other than the tires I've had zero other problems, love it.

Good Car but it has A/C issues

The A/C doesn't cool the car properly and the dealer pretends like the car has no issues. Very poor A/C.

Not a winter time vehicle

I will be truthful as opposed to other reviews as the new has worn off. The vehicle is ok for its class but in its class are a lot of other choices that are much better. So do your homework before buying. My major complaint is the heating system and that is why i am writing this review for it has a major flaw as most honda vehicles have. The dealer says that this vehicle and the vehicle he drove to work this morning would not warm up on his way to work for the temps were in the low teens. Seems funny since my 2017 Escape that sat outside warmed up after a 1 1/2 mile drive and i was nice and toasty. The temp gauge on the crv would not get off the cold mark after sitting in our garage and a five mile drive. This was our second trip to the dealer for this problem and the second time they said it was normal. After much dispute the dealer agreed to order a thermostat which is on national backorder and install it when it comes in. Why is it on national back order? Is Honda having some issues? Oh and by the way the first time it was in the dealership the car was warmed up for 15 minutes and then it was a 10 mile drive to the dealer and we pulled in and the service person saw the low temp on the gauge.
