Honda Civic LX Sedan

It's a great car overall, it's a standard model for those who are just in need of a very reliable car. Horsepower/ throttle aren't the greatest but it does save lots of gas. When I first bought it I was a little nervous because my car would shake a lot white shifting into gear TWO. I told me dealership about it and they said it was nothing because the cars sit there without being driven. A month later the shaking has gone away & it's been good so far.

2012 Honda Civic LX 2dr Coupe (1.8L 4cyl 5A)

Have had my 2012 Civic coupe for 7 months and have loved every minute of it. Have put 12,000 miles on it so far. It gets me everywhere I've asked it to go so far. I do agree with others about the blind spots, but have learned to be aware of them when changing lanes. I also agree about the acceleration. It takes a little while to get up to highway speed, but once it does it cruises very comfortably and sometimes when I look down the speed on the speedometer surprises me and I slow down quick! Still impressed with all of the features offered in an economy priced car. Very happy, very good purchase.

I purchased this car new because it felt like a qaulity product from Honda. The MPG is Fantastic. The instant display bar with MPG makes driving the car a fun "game" to maximize your mileage per gallon. Driving in mostly stop and go traffic I am averaging over 33 miles per gallon! It takes a very light foot but the instant display gives you the feed back to learn to drive with a very light foot on the gas peddle. Well done Honda!

Had my 2012 Civic for 2 years now and have already put 61.950 miles on it with zero problems ! Have only put new tires on it since purchase, well taken care of. This car has taken care of me ! Love to drive it everyday and gas mileage is superb ! My only complaint is the road noise and the glove box sometimes rattles..handles beautifully in the snow and ice and never let's me down. Love the leather bucket seats for comfort, it's a great car for reliability and value. I will buy another one when I reach 500,000 miles with this one ! Driving a Honda Civic is just plain smart and recommend it to anyone over any other compact ! This is my second Civic and never disappointed !

I loved it! i bought the car when i was 18 which was 4 years ago. i had no problems with it whatsoever!! my only complaint was the space, front seat and backseat were too small but then again i am 5'8 and I've had a kid since then. Was great on gas and i live about 30 minutes away from town i would fill up about once a week if not less. i absolutely never had a problem. i loved it. I no longer have it because it was totaled in an accident.

first off, we have been driving Honda/Acura products since 1984. The wife has had 06 and an 09 Accord EX-L and was ready for something new. Her car is usually driven on our trips, long and short, and the Accords were great but with the 2 of us in it most of the time, the Civic seemed like the logical choice when looking for a new car. It is perfect for what we drive it for and the gas savings is incredible so far, compared to the Accords.

From 2010 Mazda CX-7 to 2012 Civic EX-L

My Mazda CX-7 had to go. It was requiring Premium fuel and only got on average 17mpg. I looked at a couple of other sedans, but I knew the Honda would be the best decision for me because of resale value and reliability. I got the Honda Civic Sedan EX-L and love it more and more every time that I drive it. The leather seats are extremely comfortable. The options available on the MID screen are incredible (set how you want your doors to auto-lock, set Trip A to reset when you fill up fuel, etc.). It took only $37 to fill up the tank the other day (it would have been $60 in the Mazda), I knew that I had made the right decision.

I just bought the 2012 Civic sedan in October, so I've had the car for 3, almost 4, months now. I was in LOVE with the previous Civic models, particularly the coupe. My friend drives the black '09 coupe and I wanted something along those lines. I test drove a gorgeous blue one which was probably 2009 as well and really liked it. However, my mom wanted to get me a brand new car and all the older ones were used, so we settled for this one. Really not much to complain about, except for the cheap plasticky interior and the loud wind/road noise. Ugh! Other than that, beautiful and colorful graphics/dashboard and a reliable car. Great w/ gas too! Got plenty of compliments on it.

With over 7,725 miles experience with this car, I am very pleased with it overall. Highway trip mileage for 2,200 miles was 48.3. Overall mileage with lots of city driving including many traffic lights and 6 months of Chicago winter temperatures has brought the overall average MPG down to 42.8 for over 7,700 miles. Winter driving on snow and ice was not bad with these standard tires. Overall, I am very satisfied with the vehicle and it has somewhat exceeded my expectations.

The exterior of this vehicle is very nice, a drastic improvement over the last model. The interior leaves something to be wanted. It really doesn't do anything for me. The ride is nice, and the fuel efficiency is great for a gas engine. I averaged around 42 mpg on the interstate. The greatest grip I have is the "eco-boost" of the HF model, and the transmission of all. I think some work needs to be done in both areas. The automatic transmission acts more like a manual due to poor downshifting, and make sure to be a complete stop before changing into Drive, even if you are rolling forward. Overall, its a Honda, so I expect to have it well past 300K miles.

Before I was using 99 Nissan Altima. My new civic is 30 % economical then previous car. I usually commute to work using my new civic. In city and highway (mix) I usually get 34.4 mpg. It's perfect car for commuting to work

Just purchased the car today, first of great car and all the reviews from those other guys are wrong, I did not hear any excessive wind noise. Interior is great! The two tier dash worked for Honda and the color changes and the I-Mid, really stand out for the "wow" factor for me. Rides great, so far fuel economy is wonderful. The slanted hood will take some getting used to, my previous car was a 96 Acura, so the hood was long and could judge your distance better.

Honda supposed to be good however

Honda Civic LX four-door sedan with only 23000 miles. It reads to 50049 Mi and the car wouldn't start. I had no choice but to turned it in for another vehicle. I've been in a Honda owner in the past with an accord and that was a good experience I expected no different. This Honda Civic gave me repetitive problems with the starter. It is hard to comprehend how one can own a cream puff of a Honda like my Honda Civic LX 2012 four-door sedan and at 50,000 MI it would hesitate to start and that's with a new battery. To make matters worse the Honda people the dealer here in Homosassa Florida weren't even sure it was a problem with the starter. They fought it be $677 to fix a possible starter problem. And that is exactly how they put it on the invoice a possible starter issue. Right there at the Bay of the Honda dealer the car would not start that was so embarrassing. When great hesitation I had to turn it in for another car. I miss my Honda it was a cream puff of a car white with beige interior however how far is cream puff going to take you in a car that doesn't start. So how that gets an F. An f as in failure. And by the way every single time I took my vehicle into the Homosassa dealer they tried to nickel-and-dime me to death with little petty stuff. So Honda will not be seeing me for a very long long while. Because this gal does not have a money tree and her yard and I'm a pretty good gardener.

I went from a chevy truck to a Civic in May and I am very pleased. I test drove the 2011 and 2012 civic. The 2012 has more room for the driver because the E-brake is back further for more room. I am 76 inches tall at 265lb and comfortable in this vehicle. It also is iPod ready and very friendly to operate all features. The ECON feature is unbelievable to say the least. Gas mileage has increased since I bought this car. I now have 7500 miles on it and my MPG was 45 average on my drive home from work, it was 33MPG before I filled up due to my in town driving. You can't ask for a better car and gas mileage on a gas engine. It is peppy, but the more you get into it the lower the MPG.

I bought the Honda Civic LX last June and have put on this car about 15,000 miles. I'm not sure why this car initially got so many bad reviews. From what I can tell and have experienced these people reviewed the wrong car or are on drugs. Here are the facts after owning this car for almost 1 year. It averages about 39.8 mpg for my 30 mile commute to and from work everyday, is a blast to drive and I have had no mechanical or electrical problems at all. If you are looking for a great car, low maintenance, high mpg then look no further. I walked out of the dealership paying $18,000 for this car and have since then payed it off. I will keep this car as long as possible. Thank you Honda!

After driving my 2012 Civic Si 4-door for nearly four years, I have yet to actually get tired of driving it. Whether it's the couple-mile commute to work, driving on some back roads or flying down the interstate, the car is and has always been a joy to drive. But there are a few slight issues that prevent it from getting a perfect five stars, and the chief "issue", if you could even call it one, would be the engine. There's nothing wrong with the Si's 2.4L engine, but it seems it could use some extra power. Off-the-line acceleration is a little lacking, but once you get past 2,000 rpm it becomes much more responsive. Passing power is phenomenal, especially when you downshift. That isn't to say the car feels under-powered in any way, it just seems that a few extra horses would have gone a long way to improve performance. Actual driving is wonderful...shifting is slick with the short-change six-speed manual and the steering is perfectly balanced...you never feel like the car will skid or slide on dry road (and it has never done that in my experience). Feel free to take this car and a winding road and feel how it stays firmly planted on the road, even at higher speeds. At that, it does have sport suspension and you WILL feel every bump and crack in every road and street you drive on. That's par for the course with most sporty cars, but it's especially jarring in this one (for what it's worth, I've only ever driven the car with all-season tires). As sporty and fun as this car is, it's still an incredibly practical car. It gets decent highway mpg and phenomenal city mpg thanks to the aforementioned manual transmission, and there's plenty of space in the front and back for passengers, although three adults in the back would be a squeeze. There's a decent amount of trunk space as well. Premium fuel is recommended, I'm sure you can get away with regular but if you want the best performance and fuel efficiency, you'll should stick to the more expensive gas. Maintenance-wise the car has been mostly perfect. Besides the usual tire rotations, oil changes, etc... the only issue has been rust in two of the tires' TPS causing a slow but steady leak over time. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but two out of the four tires is somewhat concerning. At that, if you see this car for sale, seriously consider buying it. While not perfect, you'll love it the second you get in the driver's seat.

Initially bought the Civic for my long commutes. Stop and go on the freeway I averaged 35mpg. Now the wife's lead foot averages 25mpg city only driving. The front seats are not designed for long road trips. Any trip under two hours is fine. Did not purchase navigation. We have smartphones. My one tech gripe is the 1-2 second audio delay while streaming Bluetooth. The factory tires were not designed for use in the rain. Probably should have bought leather interior. My work clothes get dirty. I did buy airbag compatible washable seat covers. Factory sound system makes noise. It's not Bose or Mark Levinson. This is reliable transportation that requires little effort to drive and starts every time.

Scary in the rain

I bought this car with 1 mile on the odometer and at first loved it. Over the years 3 issues have happened enough to make me hate the car. 1. So scary in the rain. Light rain and low speed hydroplanes are not fun. Any rain and high speed hydroplanes are even less fun. Several times I have slid across a freeway because of this cars absolute inability to handle rain. 2. Wind noise and Road noise - so loud... I am exhausted by the beating the noise gives me on the freeway. 3. Electrical issues - battery dies just annually. The windows will sometimes get stuck down once lowered and will not go back up. The built charger doesn’t work. The car burns up replacement chargers. Stupid electrical nonsense. Overall it got the job done in a loud and scary manner. If your down with being yelled at by the wind and with sliding across the freeway this car is for you.

Sorry guys but in terms of factory performance and day to day driving. This takes the cake. Yes it's a tight race on the streets (From a dig, though honda kids don't know anything but roll starts), but in the SCCA events I have used the 9th gen in, it blows my times from the 8th Gen I traded to get it. It is still more oriented to day to day driving so I get the pain. It doesn't feel Raw like the 8th Gen. Then again I said that when I traded my GSR for the 8th gen. This car is solid, has proven me well both on the track and on the streets.

Have had it for only a few weeks now, but it's been GREAT! I drive 70 miles per day round trip to and from work and it drives like a dream. I do a lot of highway and city driving and the gas mileage has been excellent. I don't understand the negative reviews. I've had no issue with noise or rattling. It's been a pleasure to drive so far! I just bought an LX manual, and ... basically I m kind of dissatisfied.I traded in an LX 2000 manual that lasted me 12 years which I think had better interior fit/finish and less road noise. I don't see this car lasting that long. When above 60mph the road noise is really unacceptable. No carpet on the inside but a weird flimsy material that looks like what they put under the mattress box to cover the springs. The 2 level dashboard is BS. Must have been designed by a drunk engineer because the speedometer is perfectly covered by the steering wheel. why didI get it?looks good, handles well, good mpg,i-pod hookup. I had to replace the battery because it went dead. When I got replaced the battery at battery + I was told that I need to get Alternator checked out because it not charging the battery the way it should. So I called dealer they wanted $80 to run diagnostic on vehicle instead of spending $80 I went to my mechanic who is working on foreign cars for a while. He checked to see if battery is being charge while car is running and it wasn't, it was showing battery was holding at 12.4 V and it should have been 14 V. He tried various method to see if it charges the battery and finally when he turn the head lights on while car is running battery started charging and showing 14 v. He told me that it is weird and never saw anything like this. He thought probably the alternator was made that way. So I called to confirm with Honda company to see if they have any thing on this issue I was told they don't have information or recall on it. Rep at Honda company was pushing me to take it to dealer and pay $80 for diagnostic.

Still going strong and no issue's,would be bad just after 20k. See the car much more on the road then when it came out. I think people want a relaible commuter and cheap on gas. I'ts only a shame that in a few months a redesigned one comes out........hope this time they do it right and give it six gears with an overdrive. But this one has to make at least 100.000 miles before i even think of something else, and that will be no problem for this car.......

All highway at 65 with a/c on = 42+mpg if you leave your foot off the gas and dont drive in a real hilly area. I love it. What value! Econ is fantastic for chinging shift points but you will slow down a bit on a hill - until yuo punch it or take off econ setting. I have seen 46 mpg at lower speeds on flat terrain in the summer and not using the gas pedal much. I got the "dumb" lease $189/mo. Dumb if you dont get one... for business travel. Also have a pilot and an accord - two other no brainers. Fantastic vehicles. get one!

The resons i bought this car are MPG and its style. I get Lx and add fog light for reason. The car run loud under 35 mph but much quiet above that range. Upgrading better tire maybe can reducing some road noise, but I can live with the firestone fuel fight tire for now. There are a lot of places could be done better but it will add more cost and weight for any impovement. The cheap carpet and insulation The easily scratched plastic door panel are the obvious.

I'm impressed with the styling of my new car. It rides well and is pretty quiet on the road. The gas mileage has been excellent and will get better once I get more than a few thousand miles on it. Buy the side moulding and put it on yourself... because The only issue I have with the car is the extremely thin metal. Don't lean on the front fenders or close the trunk or hood too hard you will easily move, dent or crease the paper thin metal. Interior uses too much hard plastic and the carpet is really better suited for a a scouring pad. For an MSRP of $21,900 Civic DX, Honda seemed to have gotten the message to do better in 2013

2012 Civic EX-L Nice

The beautiful Civic Honda is an excellent all around car. The seats are a little uncomfortable, but other than that it is excellent quality. The edge of the seats seem firm and cause discomfort on a long journey. But the handling is excellent.

Ugh, where do I begin? We also have a 2002 Honda Civic LX Coupe that was purchased new in January, 2002 that is a much more refined vehicle. This 2012 edition is actually louder, gets worse mileage, is less fun to drive and RATTLES. From, like, everywhere. The cheap, hard plastic dashboard is the worst offender. The rear suspension has a weird squeak that developed in about the third year. The road noise is less now that we got rid of the OEM tires for some Yokohama Tornantes, which greatly helped the handling but it is still difficult to hold a conversation at highway speeds, especially when the road is rough or it is windy. The driver's seat has a stress tear in the fabric between the side bolster and the center of the seat about halfway between the bottom cushion and the headrest that developed in our third year of ownership because it sits so low and the seat bolsters are so aggressive you can't get in without bumping into them. It is painful to get in and out of and sits very low. We have to drive through the Ozarks once or twice a year, and this thing with its 140 HP is a nightmare on even well-paved hills. There just isn't enough power and many times we've felt unsafe trying to pass. The transmission shifts at odd times and frequently has to hunt for the right gear, and we don't even use the "Econ" mode because that just makes you floor an already slow car to get up to speed. We have always had Honda do routine maintenance and they have already had to add an additive to our transmission at the last fluid change because it had developed a mild shudder and slight slip. Almost any vehicle that pulls up behind us blinds us at night due to the low ride height and the huge back glass. We really dread going anywhere in this. It's a total piece of crap, and there's only 81K miles on it. If you simply must have a used Civic, do NOT get the 2012 model in any style or you will live to regret it. We're so angry with Honda's admission that they didn't think they needed to make this car nice from the start because Americans were having financial troubles and wouldn't know the difference that we will never trust them again. Seriously, who does that? We're done with this company. Looking at a new Subaru product for our next vehicle. Sorry, not sorry, Honda.

I just bought a new 2012 Civic LX from Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos, California. [non-permissible content removed] Now about my new car. It is so good looking, and it is so wonderful to drive. I researched many vehicles through Consumer Reports and Edmunds and also Kelly Blue Book, and I wasn't quite sure. However, I am in love with how it drives. It is so right for me. I wanted fun, and I got fun. I wanted economy, and I got economy. I wanted a great looking vehicle, and I got that too.

A step up from the last gen Si

I totaled my 2009 Civic Si Sedan, I was T-Boned by a full-size SUV doing 40+ MPH, the Civic Si held up superbly, so I knew I wanted another one. So now I have had my 2012 Civic Si Sedan for a bit and can comment on it over the 09. It's a big step up, not only in looks, but in power, the torque is very noticeable and the ride is smoother. Not as sporty as the 09 but grippier than a regular civic, my Wife enjoys the ride more and its more comfortable on the road. The upholstery... the '09 has softer plush-ier fabric, but I actually prefer the new fabric due to pet hair and it seems easier to clean as well. I miss the higher redline of the 09, but the '12 feels less of a "chore" to drive.

My intitial impression of owning the car is great. It's incrementally better than gen. 8 (2006-2011) The information display is very helpful and the ride is comfortable. Continental 16" tires have been no problem in rain on the hwy and car handles in typical Honda fasion with a compliant and solid feeling. The interior, which has been the subject of much debate could feel a little "warmer" but overall isnt offensive. The navigation system in my vehicle helps to absorb some of the plainess on the dash associated with lower trim models. I continue to stay with Honda for their reliablity, strong resale value and for how well im treated at my local Honda dealership for service.

First time using the site. Came across it and I think I've heard about it before. I thought I'd leave my thoughts on my civic I've had since new. Keeo in mind I live in Canada with similar winters to Wisconsin and Minnesota. I wanted to buy something new for myself that I thought I would drive until it finally gave up on me. I haven't had to do any real major work to it until now, and it's not even major. I have 320,000 km on the car. Work completed on the vehicle lifetime: multiple batteries (but I've aslo had a stereo in it since new so keep that in mind). Struts once, and I just checked them now and they're fine, this is the second front brake job, first rear brake job, my washer fluid pump gave out once, my starter went once, original alternator, shocks, I had a pretty bad top of engine oil leak. I'm still waiting on parts. It ended up being the valve cover gasket which was incredibly simple and cheap to fix. I'm also waiting on an oil pressure switch, which is nothing. You just have to know which one and my model takes the single wire - DX Coupe 1.8L gasoline. Incredible fuel mileage. Consistently under 7L/100km hwy and under 9 combined. My 2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk doesn't get me less than 11. The civic road noise has driven me nuts for years, but I put up with it. Music doesn't really do much to hide it. Maybe the stick on wind deflectors might help but the reviews are true, you really do trade fuel mileage for road noise. The paint on the hood, roof, and trunk are cracking, but it's also never been kept in a garage. It's showing minor body rust above the bumper. Oh and my air conditioning quit working a couple of years ago and I haven't fixed it yet. There's a leak somewhere because charging it didn't do anything. The biggest con for me has always been the ground clearance. That's why I have the Jeep for the winter. I always kept very good winter tires on it, but not even the best winter tires can beat snow storms and snow drifts that end up getting you stuck and end up causing you to rip off your front bumper. When I bought it, I thought that if I could get 300k km out of it id be happy. Well I'm 20k past that and other than these repairs costing a few hundred bucks every couple of years, it looks like it has another 300k left. People ask why I wouldn't sell it now that I have the Jeep and the reason is that it's too good of a car to let go of. The dollar value of the car has depreciated, but the value of having a reliable fuel saving vehicle is worth more than anything.

In the 8 years of ownership of our 2012 Civic, the vehicle has operated reliably and without issue. Averaging 12K miles a year, we have maintained the vehicle as recommended (regular fluid changes, tire and battery replacement) without need for additional service or attention. Power and acceleration, passing power and fuel economy sufficient. Actual 28 city/32 highway. Cabin noise and occupant comfort are the negatives. Loud droning road noise is irritating, regardless of tire choice...and seats are hard and narrow for me personally (6’/185)...which is essential for the amount of travel I perform. This is my fourth Civic since the mid-80’s...with the 1985 still being the best of all four.

150 HP Gas Saver

Mountain MaMa, 06/06/2019

This car has ample cargo room and takes the load it bears over mountains, going from 5000 ft elevation to 1000 in half an hour, with ease of power. Yep, to get to town or work, thats what I climb or descend, so HP is very important. I have not had any repairs in 90K miles of driving it. I have changed my own oil, coolant, and transmission oil with no struggle. I sometimes wear earplugs to listen to my radio on my phone and so I have to cut off the bluetooth on the counsel.....because road noise is the downside and have replaced tires every 40K just trying to improve the ride and get some silence, but even premium tires cannot make the ride quieter.so Honda has room for improvement but overall, what a gas saver...

I am very happy that I purchased this EXL Civic. I'm enjoying the leather seats, moon roof, navigation, etc. The car is delightful to drive in the city and on the highway and it has more than enough pep for my needs (particularly when econ mode is off, but I usually keep it on to enhance fuel economy). I love the i-mid screen - it's convenient to glance at the upper-level screen while driving. The tech is user-friendly and the voice commands are effective and quite intuitive.

PROS: Nice and sleek look, feeling of a full control of the car. It's nice to take sharper turns. Inside plenty of room not only or the front seats but for the back 3 passengers. Great gas mileage - makes up to 40 mpg even in congested traffic conditions. I have had it for 2 months already and very happy with the purchase. CONS: Compared to my prior car 2006 Elantra it is a little more bumpier and you can really feel every hole on the road and bumps on parking lots have to be taken at under 4mph.

I have a new Honda Civic EX for about two months now and its been a great car. Very happy with the way its drive and no blind spots , very easy to see out all around the car while driving it. Its very comfortable to drive and great seats. Its really good on gas and I have been getting 31 to 33 mpg in the city and its all mostly city driving with some stops. Can't wait to see what its gets on the highway. I got a silver one and I really like the color silver because its does'nt show very much dirt and its a nice color. Overall its a very nice car that why I rate it five star.

I have to admit I was one of the naysayers. I have been leasing a 2008 Si Sedan and have enjoyed the car immensely. However, the stars aligned and I was presented with a deal that I couldn't resist. The new Si won be over in a couple of days. It's a bit more "mature", shall we say. Yes, it leans a bit more and it lacks the dramatic stratospheric top end but it's still a great drive: planted and solid with a progressive and fluid driver/vehicle connection. The new mid range punch is delicious and the transmission is another gem from Honda. I've even warmed up to the interior. Though the navigation system is a bit fussy most of the controls clear and straightforward.

I purchased my 2012 Civic EX last May, and I love it! It is a zippy ride, and I get compliments on the appearance of the car all the time. I had a "08 Civic and loved it too, but the new technology in the new Civics is great. Drive one....you will like it and the reliability and resale are awesome. You can't go wrong with a Civic!

Driving from Cincinnati, OH to Gatlinburg, TN this past weekend we averaged 41 MPG while having the sunroof open fully and all the windows open about 2 inches. From there we continued through the App. Mountains to Greenville, SC and averaged 43 MPG with the AC running and we were not doing anything crazy like turning off the motor. I remember the sticker saying this car was rated at 39. We averaged about 73 MPH the whole way in mild to medium traffic. We bought this car with 9000 miles on it for $17,000 and have added 16,000 miles in 6 Months. No expensive or dangerous batteries to mess with and we can turn the ECON button off whenever we want to get more juice.

I owned this Civic for 3 years and hated driving it every day. It was slow to accelerate and there was no great fuel savings. The econo mode made it even more sluggish. The headlights were extremely dim and not well focused. The slanting up windshield and sloping down front made visibility poor. The blind spot in the side mirrors was a significant minus. The cloth seats were wearing thin on the drivers side in just 3 years. The trunk was very small and could not hold much else once I put my mother's small walker in there. It was very difficult for an older person with hip or knee problems to get in and out of. The upholstery was treated by the dealer to prevent stains, however, it did not make it any easier to clean. I owned a 1996 Honda Civic 5 speed and loved it. I was extremely disappointed with this car. I traded it off to a Toyota dealer and I would not say the trade in was very significant. This said, it was a pleasure to be rid of this car.

This is the second Civic that I've owned. The first was a 1980 (new) hatchback. These two cars have absolutely nothing in common. On my list was the new Elantra, corolla, Jetta, SX4 sedan and the Mazda 3. I felt that after studing, selecting and judging value, the Civic came out on top. This car drives exceptionally well for a car in it's class. I rented an Elantra for 24hrs and was not pleased with the comfort or the ride whatsoever. Not as powerful as the Mazda but again, you can't beat the road manners of the Civic., a real pleasure to drive, in my opinion.

The vibration inherent in this vehicle is unbelievable - and carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel are the result. Buyer beware - this vehicle should have warnings printed everywhere. Honda says - so what - we know the vibration is there - so what. Honda executives said - we duped Americans into paying top dollar for a piece of vibrating crap. That's why they are redesigning quickly for 2013... What will that mean to the 2012s we have now - the resale on this vehicle is soooooo low already I can't get out of it. So what, Honda customer services said - buy another vehicle. Honda lost my business.
