Civic Made Better With Valve Adjustment
Good car made great by a recent (24000 mile) valve adjustment.
untitled
This is a hassle free city car. Very versatile. Park anywhere, haul a good amount of stuff and reasonably pleasing to look at. Not a car to be excited by but certainly one to depend on.
Not Bad For End Of Its Generation
Bought this car used (with only 27k on it!). Driver's seat tends to get a little uncomfortable on long drives, starting out isn't exactly up to par (stalls occasionally), high end acceleration isn't the greatest (not sure if that's factory tuning or whether the previous owner didn't know his stuff). However, these are all minor annoyances. The car gets decent gas mileage (not as great as my Neon got, for sure, but it's good enough), and it's a blast once you get it out on the open road. Can take hills without complaining too much, and the ABS is a God-send.
rattle & clunk
Been shopping for a replacement, since I bought it. 3 months after purchase, driver side window starts making noise. Replaced. 2 months later, samething. Repaired. 4 months later the passenger window joined in the fun, you get the picture. I now drive with the windows all the way up or all the way down so I don't feel my blood boil. Clunks whenever the windows are only part way open. Unreliable acceleration, seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it will take off like a bullet most often it struggles to shift into gear and take off. Our '96 nissan sentra (major accident and 180,000 miles) has more pick up then civic ever had.
Awesome Car
Great car. Best car I have ever owned. When this one dies I will for sure buy a new honda
