The longer I have the car the better I like it. Had no mechanical problems and the Gas mileage is great. Doubt I would be interested in the comparable 2018 model. Paddle shifters and the lack of a hand held transmission lever turns me off. Have read complaints about the dual screens in the previous models but the gigantic thing sticking up on the dashboard in the 2018's is a distraction.

Solid family sedan with a great V6

If you like to drive and want a roomy reliable family sedan with a powerful engine that sounds great, the Accord V6 is a good choice. After owning a BMW 3 series for 8 years, it was hard to adjust to this car. It felt too big and soft. But as I've gotten to know it, it drives smaller than it is, it rides well, it's quiet on smooth roads and the V6 loves to rev. It does its job well without making a fuss. It also gets good gas mileage on the highway and it's been very reliable. The Accord doesn't drive as well or feel as good as the best German sedans and I sometimes miss my BMW. But for the money, it's hard to beat and it should be trouble free for many years. If you are an enthusiast that can afford the best German sedans, they are worth the premium, especially if you lease them and get the advantages without the disadvantages (long term maintenance and repair costs). But for many enthusiasts with limited means, buying an Accord and spending a a few grand more for that great V6 is a winning proposition.

2016 Honda Accord Sport

Amer, 11/01/2017
2016 Honda Accord Sport 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl CVT)

The Honda Accord Sport is a fun car to drive, gives you a smooth and agile ride. The vehicle has decent power but certainly not as much power as a Subaru WRX, Camry XSE, or Maxima. I enjoyed driving the Sport, no complaints in handling, response, acceleration, etc. I felt that Honda cheapened out in materials and amenities. The 19" Alloy wheels look slick but easily "curbed" and one of the tires had a sidewall issue under 17,000 miles. In terms of Amenities, the entertainment is sorely lacking....a 4 speaker system with a weaker wattage head unit. Even the CRV EX comes with a better system. While the pseudo leather trimmed seats look nice, you can feel the lack of quality. Other amenities such as heated seats or a sun roof would have been nice. Overall its a nice vehicle but Honda could have made even more improvements.

This is best car I have ever owned. I have owned over 10 different cars over the years, and this 2016 Accord is the best car for the money, I compared it to a Volvo S80, and a Subaru Legacy it is far superior. The ride, handling, comfort, features they are the best.

GREAT CAR, POWER,COMFORT, STYLE all in ONE

2016 Honda Accord EX-L V-6 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

I bought one of these cars as I wanted the quality that comes with buying a Honda product and I am MORE than pleasantly surprised. It took searching the entire east coast OF THE USA to find one, and one dealer would not tell me where the car was. DEALER'S had wildly different prices out of the four dealers that had one. It is not a big seller and most dealers do not stock them, only the larger dealer's will buy one MAYBE two for the entire year. The car moves down the road with ease, power and gets looks from young and old people, most people do not what kind of car it is, most guess at a Civic, but they all say "NICE CAR !", and it is. Comfort, style, power and the latest in technology all wrapped into the most successful mid-size car of the last 35 years...THE HONDA ACCORD. I will take care of this car and I am sure it will more than take care of me. this Honda Accord has Leather interior, 360 watt/ 7 speaker sound system, 2 video screen's(one touch screen), 2 camera's, 4 way power drivers seat, power everything. It might be .5 second slower BUT The Accord Coupe actually blows that car away....and I loved my '93 Sunfire. This Accord Coupe should serve me well.
