Used 2016 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Fantastic Car
My first Honda. This is a high quality car all around. Smooth, quiet, comfortable and roomy. The front seats are very comfortable. I actually like the CVT transmission. Sure, low end torque is not great, but it is adequate. I never find myself uncomfortable, wishing for more power. At higher RPM's the little engine really pulls hard. It's impressive. There are quieter cars, but it is reasonably quiet. The gas mileage is insane! Rated at 27/37, I actually get better than 27 in pure city driving. I get close to 30mpg in the city. The new styling of the 2016 model is very attractive. Steering wheel controls work well for all of the infotainment system. I rarely use the actual touch screen. Honda Sensing is a nice technology. It's a very good deal for the price. Lane keeping assist actually allows you to relax a little bit more while driving because it makes all the minor adjustments for you. Collision mitigation can be fooled in certain situations, but not a problem, it can be overridden by the driver applying gas and/or steering. BTW - there is a trunk access button on the rear of the car. It is located slightly offset to the right side under the lip of the trunk. Another reviewer said the only way in was using the FOB, which is incorrect. Oh, and I love the push button start and the keyless entry. This is my first experience with it and it is great. I just walk up to the car with the key fob in my pocket and touch the handle, and the car unlocks. The key never leaves my pocket. When I leave and want to lock the car, I just press the button on the outside door handle. 3 year update: my opinion has not changed. Still driving like new. No mechanical problems. I’m very pleased with this car. Driving to work at a steady 65-70 mph on the highway, I get 40 mpg.

racking up miles
I live in a rural area of North Carolina and things are sometimes a long way off. High mileage would be a killer for some cars, but the Honda Accord has a high demand used, almost regardless of miles driven. The dealer is pestering me to trade my 2016 for a new Accord because he has no used stock Accords to sell. The car does most things well and some very well. It handles like a German Sport Sedan and the build quality is similar. The only negatives after 30000 miles is yellow looking headlights, common for most cars, and in future my next set of tires will be expensive because they are 19". The car's computer registers between 30 and 35 mpg in mixed driving. My dealer has been very helpful and I have been servicing there since he charges less that most shops and I use full synthetic oil. I now have 37000 miles on the car and it still runs as well as it did when new. As of 9/2019 I have 50000 miles on the car. The only problem has been slightly warped front brake rotors. Premium replacement brakes for my model are not available, only the OEM style are sold. The "sport" model Accord has larger rotors that other Accords and, so far, premium replacements are not available. The stock battery is only 410CCA and I bought the battery box and hold down for the V6 and I am buying a larger 24F 750CCA battery. I cranks too long before starting and I suspect the smaller battery is getting tired.

Worst car ever ! Never again !overrated car
Worst experience ever. Starting from the buying procedures, do you have the car in stock ? They say yes , cool , drove 20 miles to find out the car is not available yet and it is in another facility, they told me to try the regular accord 2016 , it would be the same , ok , i did not want the HONDA CARE ! And i told them NO I AM GOOD they still tried hard to convince and the financing manager did not feel ashame to keep telling me about how good it is and it would cover more things that the 3 years manufacturer warranty would , cost is $2400 , i only said ok because i knew i have 60 days to cancell , !!! And guess what eveytime i go to the dealership to fix an issue the first thing they say , oooh this is not covered !! Really ! What is covered then ! I had problems with wheel alignment the car was pulling , took it 3 times for the same issue , oh its not pulling and COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM and bla bla bla BS , i said fine. I will do that on my own never mind , then they called and say oh the manager said he will do the alignment for you , its like they giving me a favoy! Oh nice thank you!! And guess what. That paperwork that they gave me to show the alignment was performed was fake ! I still have the car pulling !! WTH ! When i boight the car i had a $1000 saving from a different dealer , but i still paid the $1000 extra for this dealership. ! The front and back suspension noise is very aggravating , you will feel like driving a tractor on a corn field!! The gas mileage is low 22 mpg combined and now its getting worse about 15 !! They only say oh we cant do nothing about it ! Really ? Who can ? Toyota? Probably yes ! Wind noise at highway speed , mirror shaking a little at high way speed , smoke burning odor win accelerate all COULD NOT BE DETECTED!! I think there is many fake reviews and ratings about this car ! they also offer me a FREE oil change to give then A GREAT feedback on a survey they would send to me ! Really. !? How about i will pay you double the price for your oil change and you just do honest work and service ! Never seen something like this before i owned 3 different vehicles and drove 7 different ones they were all used and never had an issue like this , this honda accord was brand new , tires and rims warranty was about $800 for 5 yrs or 100k miles , did not use so far , but we called once and they say we have to fix the wheels if we have an issue with them then they will send us reimbursement!! Will never buy a honda again.

A great car with a poor driver seat
The driver seat takes out all the pleasure of driving this beautiful car. A 30 mins drive will cause severe back / leg pain.

Gorgeous and classy !
This is a Honda, great quality, tremendous engine, low maintenance, beautiful sleek lines, durable, * top notch electronics, sturdy, comfy, gas saving, and lots of air bags. Safety features are amazing, like brakes, airbags, stabilizing features for bad weather, too. Heated seats, dual controls for air/heat. Huge trunk. Roomy inside, and a smooth suspension system. We love the deep "steel" gray color, leather seats, sunroof, etc. We get wonderful mileage. Now, 6 months later - we love it even more. Very happy repeat Honda customers.
