I bought this car new and would have been hard pressed to have had better service from any make of car at any price. I have had as much as 28 mpg on the highway with the AC on at 70 MPH.

I have driven this car faithfully and serviced it regularly.. now that I am retired we use my Husbands car .. and Baby T-bird sits in that lonely garage... It has 67,000 Kilometers on it now, but still has original Tires and is in nice shape... one tiny scratch on right front bumper.. which I guess happened while shopping.. no idea when or where as never noticed it till I was washing the other day.. otherwise it is great..

Love my High Mileage T-Bird

I drive a lot (highway) and I got 249971 on the same engine and transmission. This car got me the best price per mileage. I recently changed the fuel pum and starter. Also, I changed the alternator and the battery. No other mechanical problems... By the way, the transmission started to slip in OD but I can still drive Ok in D. I considering to get a used 1997 T-bird.

Old Faithful looking a little worn

I have owned this car since 1991. Drove in in hard winters--repainted it once and got a new bumpter. The only thing that went wrong in 13yrs was an alternator, an oil leak and cosmetic stuff. The engine runs terrific--- still can go 100 up a big hill with no issue :) These are great and fun cars-- if you are ever thinking of buying one. Its just kind of sad this car is considered "old"..I remember when I first drove it up to work and it turned peoples heads...now people look at it and turn their head (hahah)

this car has been in my family for almost 12 years now, Ive enjoyed it alot. the interior is the ergonomically sound setup I have ever seen and the car still has the same might it had the day it rolled off the showroom floor. nice car, head gaskets problems to watch out for however.
