18 AGAIN!

Ordered my baby in July 2001 and didn't take delivery until November. WORTH THE WAIT! Have had more fun with this little car. When I get in it, I'm 18 again - heads are turning - can't even count how many compliments I've had. White w/black stripes and charcoal leather interior - two years old and I love her as much as the day I brought her home. Only has needed routine maintenance. I actually think I'll keep her past the time she's paid for!

I've been driving since Memorial Day and have loved this car. The manual transmission is somewhat knotchy but otherwise alright. I love the exterior and interior styling. This looks a lot like the 69 Mach I my brother had when I was a kid. I think it beats owning the run of the mill cars out there, and sets you apart from the rest of the crowd.

I bought a 2002 GT new and it was a fun car but the insurance was too much and I had to sell it. I just bought this 2001 GT convertible and it brings back all the great memories of that 02 but now the insurance is 1/3 the price. I love these cars because they are the cheapest fun you can use to commute to work. I get 27 mpg, 130 miles a day and my 3 year old loves it. It's loud (flowmaster) fun, fast, and engaging for a person that loves cars. Why anybody would commute in a boring daily driver I can't understand when you can get these things so cheap used and they get decent mileage....I was buying a new Challenger this year but think I made the right choice.

My 2001 Laser Red Mustang has been nothing but fun. A sporty ride yet very solid. Speaking of solid I like the solid rear axle as well as the rear wheel drive. Knock on wood the car has been very dependable once a couple of warranty issues were worked out (diff.,clutch). Dealing with Ford is no picnic but the car is worth it.

I have had nothing but trouble with this car. Heres a summary... 0 miles: exact same squeaking sound coming from the plastic vent behind the hood that my 99 6cyl Mustang had and squealing brakes and rattling steering 5000: shift knob broke loose. 16000: the plastic handle on the inside of the driver's door broke off 18000: the keyless entry system has stopped working about half the time.
