Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsNothing exceptional here, but nothing offensive either. There's enough power to merge safely, find a gap, etc., as long as you plan ahead. Engine/motor transition is imperceptible.
Braking ratingAverage
Braking comments126 feet is reasonable for the class and pedal feel isn't awful for a hybrid. Fade resistance, however, is laughably poor, with the fifth stop requiring more than 160 feet.
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsSlalom: Stability control is the non-defeat kind. Body motions are reasonable even with the noticeably soft dampers. Control is good. Doesn't feel too heavy or out of the ordinary. A perfectly respectable handling performance. Skid pad: Balance, as expected, leans heavily toward understeer.
