Major Mistake for buyers
Purchased a loaded sedan for my wife 3 weeks ago. After doing research and deciding we liked the mileage it got. We averaged about 38 mpg with the car in city / highway combined. Seats were comfortable except everytime we drove it neither of us could walk after about an hour behind the wheel. SNYC system was horrible and complicated to operate. Vehicle has no tow hooks so when it gets stuck in 3 inches of snow you can't yank it out. no way to shut off the traction control system off so when it's stuck in the afore mentioned 3 inches of snow you can't rock it out either. the automatic transmition jerks in and out while driving. This car was so bad we traded it in within a month!!!!
Sports car for young at heart
Great little car, traded in Taurus so was bit apprehensive. had for 5 weeks and have little over 710 miles. For in town driving the mileage is sitting at 34 per gal.could not believe for in town. If i do hit highways it is usually only 12-20 miles. Back seat cramped but do not have many in back. Little ole lady to church and store car, trunk is fine, will hold lots of groceries and misc. Color Lime Squeeze, lots of comments and people asking about new Fiesta. Real winner for me. comfortable tight and fun to drive, will see how handles in snow

Fun car!
I have a 5-door automatic SES with the yellow paint, and I love it! It's zippy and fun to drive. I get lots of compliments on my car. It's been winter in MN for the whole time I've owned my Fiesta so far, and the car heats up quickly and starts just fine in the cold, though it helps to let it run for couple minutes before driving. I haven't had any trouble driving in the snow.
Excellent Vehicle
(Note: I have the automatic transmission which isn't listed as an option) Don't listen to people complaining about how this vehicle is Mexico this vehicle simply exudes build quality there are no squeaks or rattles over rough pavement, and no misaligned panels. Acceleration is good enough for highway usage. The car is quiet on the highway however, the engine gets a bit loud during acceleration. The car has a Good and balanced ride considering the short wheelbase You may think the trunk is useless and small but, it has a larger internal volume than the civic and corolla. All in all I can see why this is the second best selling new car in Europe
Fun, Fit and Finish
We have now had our new Fiesta SES hatchback for about a month, and put about a thousand miles on it. We have the Powershift 6-spd automatic (not listed as an option the Edmunds review?) The car is fun to drive, has good handling, adequate power, and great gas mileage. It looks great, and it has been perfect so far. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small, fun, economical car - it's not an econobox - it's a great car that happens to be efficient.
