the first truck i have owned and i love it
Just crazy about FORDS!
I have owned 6 F150's and this 2004 FX version is by far the best of all. Very quiet on the road; plenty of power for passing and superb ride comfort. This is basically a tow vehicle for hauling my 4000 lb. boat with the greatest of ease. The truck has a 3:55 rear axle for decent fuel economy and a 8300 lb. tow capacity. Only 4,000 miles on the truck so far and not one problem. I highly recommend this truck to anyone seeking a fantastic piece of American engineering.

Front Brake Problems
I experienced problems when the dealership rotated my tires. They over torqued my wheels and caused warping in the rotors. From that point forward it has been a nightmare. They even suggested it was my driving! Well now in the 4th return, Ford has come up with an updated rotor. So now the truth comes out. But just before this they were going to make me pay for repairing their mistakes. I just question their honesty and integrity.
F-150
I love almost everything about the truck. The only thing I wish for is better fuel mileage. The truck ride great. I use it for hunting, the off road features is the best I have ever used. I think Ford has the best looking truck there is. Power is pretty good. I use it to pull a trailer and it can do it no problem. This truck rocks
Looks are deceiving
Best looking truck on the road. Probably the worst truck to tow with I've ever owned. Very dissappointed. I can tell when I have a dirt bike in the bed while driving. Forget pulling a boat or trailer, it's horrible.
