This is the best all around truck I have ever driven or owned. The suspension of the truck is great. Fully loaded with tools you cannot even feel it.The ride is still smooth. Put it this way, I love my truck!

I was a japanese truck buyer for years.. I own a farm in Waco and pull large trailers. I needed something that can pull. My tacoma could not. I bought my 05 Lariat FX4 4x4 Crew brand new with 26 miles expecting to get 80k and dump it. Now i have 211,460 as of right now and has been great. Only repairs were headlight bulbs, tires, fluids, and brakes twice. The 5.4 is a real workhorse and still purs with 211k. Toyota? my tacoma had a new tranny put in at 120k and 195k.. This is far more comfortable. I strongly recommend the Ford F series truck. My next vehicle will be American.

Best Vehicle Ever

Wow, Ford did it right with the new F-150. I'm 50 years old. I have bought new Dodge, Chevy, Honda, and other Ford products and this '05 F-150 is the best ever. I have owned it almost two years and 30,000 miles and not one problem. Not even a small problem. The last new truck I bought was a 2000 Silverado and that was a nightmare from the time I took delivery until i traded it 36,000 miles later. The Ford is at the other end of the scale. It rides nice, is super quiet inside, and is pretty good on gas. Seats could be softer, and it could use more power. I got the 4.6 v8, should have got the 5.4. Other than that, the truck is flawless.

Bought truck new had it since took truck on a short trip and started knocking didn’t effect power or any thing got home took it to ford spent 3 grand on it was told it was timing chain. After 10 days said motors bad and needs to be replaced so 3 grand nothing fix . So truck has 96000 mile all mainenced done oil changes on time and all fords recomdation. Bottom line ford didn’t fix truck or back up anything they said said it would be another 8 to 10 grand to replace. Always been a ford guy no longer they left me out on a limb and got 3 grand and did nothing to fix truck very disappointed in ford by the time they where done I could have been out 13000 dollars

Only had truck for 2 months; fun to drive, handles great, and the rack and pinion steering makes turning in parking lots and sharp corners effortless. Basic CD sound system is great. Also own 2000 Tahoe and drives much better than Tahoe - won’t get rid of Tahoe though.
