Used 2006 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
Excellent performer
I've owned and operated this vehicle for just about a year now and it's been the ideal SUV for me and how I use it. For being a disabled driver as myself, it's so easy to transfer from my wheelchair and into the seats.
I'll Take Another One Please!
Fantastic ride. Strong, tough, no blind spots. Great vision from all angles. Rides like a car, behaves like a truck. Best size SUV on the market, price wise, and reliability.

Ford Escape
Ashtrays should remain an option. There is a perfect spot for one but now is just a hole in console. Not much room between the door and the seat adjuster. Good thing we don't have large arms. Geared just a little high for driving in hill country.
Strange road vibration
Basically, it is a fine SUV except when the speed reaches 60 MPH. Then an intermittent vibration starts. By 80 MPH it feels like the rear tires are totally out of balance...then it quits...then it starts again. Have been unable to find the reason even after all tires were replaced and rebalanced.
Just Bought and Love it
I just bought this SUV and I love it better than my 08 Suzuki Forenza I had. The Forenza was totaled in an accident. So far this SUV is getting the same gas mileage I had in my Forenza. I love the fact that I have the basic model and it doesn't look to plain. The ride is smoother than my Forenza and comfort is way better than my Forenza.
