Used 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan Consumer Reviews
One of the Best!
We bought it just as it came on the market, the Stow and Go seats really sold us. I have a disabled shoulder and am still able to work the stow and go features; love the way the rear seating can be turned around for 'tailgating' parties! Being able to keep seats looking great when not being used by stowing them, it gives us maximum room to carry purchases. Center console may be set back between the second row seats and net used between front seats. People helping me out with groceries think it is "so cool" to have so much room and still carry people. We use the pockets for the seats we are using to put things out of sight and make it safer to buy in several places.
2005 Grand Caravan SXT
The ride is smooth yet firm. The vehicle has adequate power and the driver's seat is roomy and comfortable. The various controls are easily accessible and the gauges are easy to read. It is a pleasure to own and drive this vehicle.

Keep looking
Our 2005 Grand Caravan sxt has had to have the air conditioning repaired. We also had to have new plugs and wires and the software upgraded on the computer. It also has a whine around 50 miles per hour.(Dealer has heard noise, design flaw, no fix as of yet) I am very unhappy with this van, we bought a new van, not a used one. This van has been in the shop more than our '96 Ford Windstar was in 9 years.
Best Caravan yet
They finally got it right. I have owned five Dodge Caravans this is the best one.
The best Grand Caravan yet
Our trade-in was a 2000 Grand Caravan with 41000 miles. It was a very good van but this 2005 has it beat by a mile! The 2005 is quiter, better performance and the "stow and go" seating is terrific. The other mini vans do not match it for design and value. This is our fifth Dodge mini van and this one is the best by far.
