Worst Car to Own
This car has been a problem since day one. 3 of 4 windows motors replaced. Heated seats twice. Headlights flicker and Chrysler can't fix. Transmission sensors just went out. I would have to say this is the worst car to own. I am getting rid of this thing even if I have to take a loss. This is the first and only time I buy a Chrysler product.
Great luxury value!
An excellent value! Engine is great, 235HP. Heated leather seats and great Infinity sound system. Fuel economy is good for this class: 25- 30 hwy. The trunk is a huge cavern. Could have shortened the overall vehicle length and/or increased the leg room by shrinking the trunk a bit. The interior noise level is pretty high for a luxury car. It handles well, with 17-inch alloy wheels and low-profile tires, but its not terribly quiet. If you want a sporty luxury car without going to Mercedes or BMW to get it, this is the one!

Excellent luxury/sport
Bought this car 8 months ago and have put 20,000 miles on it. Great car, handles like a much smaller vehicle, stable on the highway and good gas mileage too. Only minor problem was driver side window motor going and switch in heated seat replaced by Chrysler for no charge! I have owned 8 cars so far(GM,Ford,Jeep)and this one is the best so far!
Perfect American Luxury
I absolutely love the LHS. I have owned multiple LHSs and keep coming back for more. My sister owns an LHS and I have owned three. After 10 years my '99 is still one of the best looking cars on the road. Driving this car feels like driving a much more expensive, high-end luxury vehicle. Acceleration is phenomenal considering the weight of the behemoth. Comfort is second to none, although road and wind noise is a bit sub-par. It has a few "gremlins", dash tends to split on the passenger side, door seals tend to fall, speed sensors have a history of going in this make, headlight seals like to separate and the headlight lenses tend to yellow and become milky, ect. All of these are EASY FIX!
Love the car but can tick me off
I bought car in March 08 and I love it. Once I got in it I was in love. Get compliments all the time and is comfy with plenty of room. I have 181,653 miles on her and haven't had too much go wrong with her. Yes window motors die often in this car, battery to replace stinks, washer pump has went out and had overheating issue due to bad thermostat and clog in radiator hose. Yeah the stuff irritates me but I have learned that no car is perfect and my love for my car out weighs the anger. Newer the cars are the quality gets lower. It's not just Chrysler. Ask yourself, do you love your car....if yes...then it's worth fixing and keeping.
