So long Ford, I have my "Mustang" now!

I ordered a Mustang GT back in Aug. '05, December came and the dealership still could not tell me when it would be built. Wanted a car with "power", drove the SS and that was it! I've never looked back, what Mustang? This car is a beast. I'm 6'5" and have plenty of room (big selling feature). The power is great, this thing is a lead sled but the V8 moves it effortlessly. It's a straight line car, wont't be taking turns at 100 mph. If you want a car that combines power, some sport, good ride, vast amount of room (up front & in the trunk, back seat a tad tight), and luxury car amenities, then this is a car to look at. I just hope it proves to be reliable, no problems so far!

SS has no rival

My last car was a Ford, & I liked it a lot. I'm not stuck on one brand, rather, I buy what I consider to be the best car for the money. The SS fits that bill more than any car I've ever owned. I love the understated, clean styling. IMHO, simple interiors are best, & the SS is as straightforward as it gets. 18" rims are great, and like the rest of the car, tough looking yet classy at the same time. Love the heated seats, XM radio, & sunroof - options I had never splurged for in the past. Hwy ride is smooth, be careful, though...this car can get away from you! Mileage is function of my driving; can get 28 mpg on hwy if I need to, but fun factor of the V8 has me averaging more like 19 :)

The 2006 Impala has quick pick up and power that makes it fun to drive. We love to drive it and the kid's friends think its a cool car.

I am really impressed with this car. I think it provides a very classy car at a great price. It is extremely quiet and the bose stereo system is awesome. I love the styling especially the rear and side. I think it is conservative, but really good looking in a way that is not trendy in the way some cars are. It will remain in style for a long time. It has excellent trunk space and a very usable large trunk. I also really like the way the back seat folds. Anyone I have driven with in the car has been very impressed. I think that the car will be a big seller. I owned a 2003 Impala that I also liked, but this new Impala is far superior in every was. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have owned it for about a month. Fun car to drive, looks pretty sharp. I had some transmission troubles, dealer/GM took great care of the car. No problems at all.
