2025 Chevrolet Equinox Consumer Reviews

Sluggish, poor audio ,poor assembly
Vehicle is sluggish all around. Breaks sometimes grab extremely hard if barely grazed. The audio is horrendous. The assembly is poor I've had to go around and tighten various panels due to screws not being tight. Taking it in today for electrical issues ranging from lift gate opening when no ones around to navigation not working and vehicle not communicating with app at all. When it rains the moisture build up inside the car is beyond acceptable. Lots of road noise other than from tires. Turned off the auto door lock option and vehicle still locks you out. Pros.. in the active model the interior is nice and the tires look nice on the vehicle. It is a comfortable ride. Thats about it. The settings are a cluster [non-permissible content removed] trying to find stuff. And the lain assist and drive assist might as well be nonexistent.

engine is garbage, speakers are trash
The 2025 Equinox uses the same 1.5T engine from the previous generation. The engine has the lowest horsepower and poorest fuel economy in the small SUV class. I am averaging 28 mpg with 5,000 miles. My 2013 Honda CR-V AWD had the same fuel economy. Garbage. The 2025 Equinox does not have a upgraded sound system. The Bose sound system from the previous generation was removed in the latest generation. The sound system is absolutely garbage for the price point. I get better sound quality with a $30 Bluetooth speaker.

2025 LT Midnight Edition
Purchased just over one month ago and just reached 1k miles. A little early to complain about much this early in the game but the front buckets are some of the most comfortable, not too firm not too soft seats I've ever sat in. Recently took a 500 mile two day excursion and I had no fatigue at all from sitting. I'm quite surprised I averaged 28 mpg, mostly freeway and moderate headwinds both directions(of course). This car really does have good power, and is quite responsive down low. The driver information center is very well laid out and looks great. Ton of legroom in the back seat and plenty of storage in the rear cargo area, this model has more room than it looks. Ours is a white LT, midnight edition and is quite sporty looking. Looked at two others, the first one being a Honda CRV and the other a Mazda CX5. Both great choices, but this one was the winner when it came to style and comfort.
