Needs more power for highway
Good for shopping trips or school runs but after one trip on a 60 mph highway you'll regret it. Others have tried this strategy and it didn't work.

Nice car, poor Connectivity.
The vehicle's performance, utility, fit, and finish are commendable. After 6,200 miles of operation, I have observed some charging system inconsistencies, specifically the failure to initiate charging during preferred times despite sufficient time to reach the desired capacity. This necessitates manual intervention to initiate charging. This issue appears intermittent, with periods of flawless operation alternating with periods of malfunction. Additionally, a persistent rattle, seemingly originating from the front left dashboard area and noticeable at highway speeds, has been present since the vehicle's initial operation. While these are relatively minor concerns, I anticipate resolution through future software updates, given their reported frequency. A more significant issue concerns the connectivity between Android-based smartphones and the infotainment system. Both of the new Samsung phones within the family have experienced inconsistent connectivity, particularly when attempting to utilize phone applications for audio playback. The vehicle's positive attributes include its comfortable ride, ease of operation, exceptional fuel efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.

This is the first time I have ever driven/owned an electric vehicle. This thing can get up and go for an inexpensive vehicle and rides as well as my Cadillac CT5-V.

We love our Equinox EV. It’s very comfortable, handles well, and is affordable and thrifty.

Not impressed.
To start off, I like that the Equinox has a lower price point, that will be a huge reason this car sells. The lower price point comes with a lot of compromises, though. Interior quality is horrid, materials are very cheap, road noise is loud, and the infotainment with integrated Google is not that great. I feel like they could have used Apple CarPlay. For a sticker price of $48,000 I was expecting better materials the the immense amount of cheap plastic everywhere, but I understand that’s how GM does it.
