Used 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Consumer Reviews
An American supercar that lives up to the hype!
The Z06 has 650 horsepower that has to be respected. Even with traction control you can fish tail the car, so don't be surprised when you punch the accelerator from a standing start. The car is easy to drive in all conditions with the appropriate driving mode. The front splitter on the ZO6 is low so you'll need to always be mindful of speed bumps in parking lots, parking the car and when entering driveways. This is not a problem as long as you activate the front cameras which is active at low speeds (5mph). I strongly suggest you enroll in the performance driving school at Spring Mountain, NV to learn all about the capabilities of the car. This C7 Corvette is packed with features not found in other high performance cars such as the PerformanceDataRecorder (PDR) that can be used to record your drive with performance data even in valet mode. 7th gear fuel economy is excellent over long stretches of highway driving. No need to place the car in economy mode which reportedly stresses the engine and allows it to automatically deactivate cylinders and switch between V4 and V8. After over two years of trouble free ownership, only scheduled maintenance was required which was covered by the warranty.

Lightning FAST !!
This Car Has Plenty of POWER & SEX APPEAL, The Blue Tooth is Really Convenient, The 8 Speed Transmission Helps with the Gas Mileage, I do wish the Stereo was just a little Stronger with the Top Down, But the Handling of the Car with the Michelin Pro Cup tires Stay Glued to the Road As long as the Traction Control is on. Its The BEST CORVETTE BY FAR, & I started driving them in 1969. Its going to be hard to Top this Z06 3LZ WHITE Convertible with the Spice Package for Under $110,000.

Little red corvette
This car is a beast and even though it has less hp than the z06 or zr1. Still a fun and comfortable car to drive.

GM not trying
This is a very high performance car, but beyond that you can feel the GM culture of just not trying to build a quality car. When bought new the wheels were out of balance and the front end was not aligned properly. The steering wheel was crooked to boot. I have bought numerous Toyotas, Hondas and never would this occur. The seat backs are loose in the hinges - replaced but happened again. Just like a GM car from the 1960s or 70s. The fatal flaw is the 8 speed auto transmission. This is all over the internet so I will not elaborate but it makes the car annoying to drive and the dealer and GM are unable/unwilling to fix it. Despite the performance the net driving experience is negative. Never again. Update: Having concluded that this was the worst quality car I ever owned and the non fixable transmission problem I got rid of it. Not a minute too soon. BTW all the entries on the model drop down menu are "7M". This is an automatic.

The Hopper
This purchase of my 2018 Z51 3LT Stingray Coupe is not my first Corvette. This my 10th Corvette, from T tops, Targa Tops, Convertibles, Autos, Manuals, and 1 ZR1. When I purchased this current Corvette, the Dealerships Internet Department which I dealt, DID NOT disclose to me regarding the GM Service Bulletin regarding WHEEL HOP, at the time I purchased the car in January 2019, which only included 2014 to 2017 Stingrays. When I experienced the SEVERE WHEEL HOPPING at parking lot speeds , in HARD RIGHT OR LEFT TURNS, I thought something was wrong. When I took the car back to the dealership at that time they printed the aforementioned GM BULLETIN, which says it’s NORMAL. I started a LEMON LAW with GM and was told ITS NORMAL, I contacted an Attorney and was told his EXPERT said he would not go to court because GM SAYS, ITS NORMAL. I went back to the Dealership I purchased the car from to NO HELP from them. I consider myself a Corvette Enthusiast, but since this experience, I am done with AMERICAS NUMBER ONE SPORTS CAR, yea right!!! By the way, as I stated early in the text, I purchased this car in January 2019 new for $63K and the Dealership I purchased from put a current value on this car at $45K. That’s almost $20K decrease in value in only 5 MONTHS!!!!
