The truck was at the dealership so long and so many times it fell under lemon law, The dealership was great General Motors was useless. Promised compensation for the inconvenience but never delivered on the promise. They conveniently lost my number and the paperwork on several occasions.

Haunted 2023 Colorado

Had truck for 9 months, already in shop 5 times. having mostly the same problems as everyone in here. One that I haven't seen anybody mention is, backup camera staying on even when driven forward. I have to pull over and shift back to park and then to drive again so backup camera shuts off. The other one is the fans in the truck come on after the truck has been sitting in my garage for time.

Brought truck in October of 2023 because it had all the safety features. After driving 200 miles find out the active cruise control does not work, head lights come on when it is very dark, and after backing up a bit and go forward the reverse camera stays on. Took the truck to the dealer said active cruise control is a future update???. They said they updated the radio for the other problems. They are still there. The truck was made in April of 2023 how long to wait for update. Took the truck to near buy dealer does not know about update ????. Always was a Dodge person with no problems first Chevy since 1977. This is my last

I love the look of the 2023 trailboss I just got. - poor fuel economy for the gutlessness of the turbo powered engine - interior is ok, but uncomfortable to sit it for more than 20 minutes. - no heated seat, or leather, or headlight control, or ability to quickly reset your trip (like when you fuel up.. you have to go through a menu and find the vehicle settings to do this reset) - The glare from the hood into your face on those mornings when your into the sun... HORRIBLE. no.. sunglasses arent the answer. at least the truck photo for the review page has an anti glare hood application. - stereo is weak at best, when it works.. multiple times i've had no control over volume or channels until I shut down and restart the truck. - the auto engine off is another great trick for those who like the truck to kill starters. it is an easy disable... everytime you start the vehicle. - bluetooth disconnects from your phone as soon as you start the truck.. safety I guess... - even 1/2 of a sheet of plywood has to sit up on the wheel wells.. COOL - tape measure on the tail gate... wow.. what a feature... "just a sec, I'll go grab my tail gate to measure that" - storage box in tailgate.. good idea... my ratchet straps have never been wetter.. as the seal allows water in.. but not out. - the transmission.... like elastic bands winding up and slowly engaging.. or shifting at low RPM , but constantly shifting... I know theres more.. but I'm tired of complaining about it I used to love chevs.. I've never owned a FORD.. but.. I just want a decent truck, and dont care what brand. Again.. it looks fantastic... if the diesel was still available.. that would be a HUGE bonus.. but.. no its not

Tacoma who?

Let me say this, Tacoma is way overrated. I owned 2 and dumped both of them. 4 cylinder had no power, the 6 cylinder you couldn’t run the heater for a clanking noise. I have a 2023 Colorado and no issues and love the exterior. I have the Trail Boss, show me a Tacoma for $38950. Ride is fabulous, handling is great, doors are solid when closed. Made in America!
