AVEO JUNK
This is the worst car I have ever owned. It is nothing but a big ball of JUNK. If I could I would paint on the car for everyone to read, TURD Mobile. Stay away unless you like, blowing money, (Big Money), like blown engines, clutches, etc. Poor excuse for Chevy making this piece of S.....
Good 1st time car
I bought my 2010 Chevrolet Aveo hatchback April 2015, I have now owned it for a year. This was my first vehicle so I was super excited about it, it only had 2800 miles on it and two previous owners. So it was still a pretty new car to be a used car (if that makes sense). It's a really nice car for a first time buyer, the only cons I would say I have is that it isn't really powerful and if it's windy outside it seems like the car "moves with the wind". That may have something to do with how small the car is, also I feel like if you have the AC on it feels like the car takes a little longer to accelerate. Other then those few cons I'm very grateful for the car I've been blessed with, and plus I will still have some trade in value for it. So that's awesome!

Big inside! Bad MPG.
I bought my Aveo5 LT 60 days ago and now i feel i can submit a good review. The vehicle is super spacious inside for such a small car. The fit and finish overall is good. All is hard plastic but soft to the touch and are low gloss. I have the 2LT package with sunroof, rims, cruise, fog lights, and "leather" seats. No abs though. Stereo sounds decent and armrest is good. Car drives smooth and seats are comfortable. Hatchback design helps when need to carry large boxes. Headlights are strong and visibility is very good. MPG is a major issue with this cars. 22 city is simply unacceptable. Full tank gives me merely 250-280 miles.
43 MPG @ 55 MPH
I needed a car right now and Rio was not an option. The rebate was huge on the Aveo compared to Rio. Chevrolet dealers are everywhere, Kia dealers are not. My last car was an 06 Rio and it was a lemon from day one. The Aveo gets fantastic gas mileage if you drive like I do. I'm in no hurry. It holds the road good in high wind. It has the On-Star feature which can run diagnostics while you drive and give you traffic alerts with the push of a button. The hands free cell phone service of 300 minutes for a year cost 9 bucks. Car handles good, stops good, looks great, controls are easy to operate/find. Plenty of head and leg room up front. Great audio features for external gear.
Nightmare!
I have had this car for about seven and a half years. It has had so many issues. I have constantly had to go to the mechanic for repairs and it has been so expensive for those repairs. Nothing was ever easy. It has been a money pit. : (
