2025 Buick Encore GX Consumer Reviews

Love it and hate it both
Bought a 2024 Preferred 8 months ago. Very comfortable….love how it drives…great gas mileage BUT have had several annoying issues. First was my seat material being warped after sitting on it. They replaced the seat material 3 times finally it’s somewhat better. Also, I have 3 windows that squeak 80% of the time and multiple other rattles and squeaks going down the road. Very annoying. I thought Buick was to be a quiet ride. Also when backing out of the driveway I often get the warning of no tire pressure in any tires. After complaining to Buick and the dealership multiple times I’m getting the run around. The dealership has even offered to get me in another 2024 since they can’t figure out the issues after having the car in 6 times and 21 days total but being late in the year they can’t find me a 2024 where I won’t lose major money. Very disappointing,
AVOID
got the 2024 Buick encore and had a HORRIBLE experience. After a minor accident, my car has been in the shop for 7 months with no word on when I am getting it back. GM refuses to provide the parts for my car. I am so sad. Wish I could have better news.

Great car at a fair price.
I have had my new car for seven months. And I love it. The CVT transmission shifts smooth and quietly. The turbo 1.2 turbo engine has plenty of power. The interior is very upgraded. The dash displays are easy to use. The heated steering wheel and seats are a nice feature. The extra sound insulation used in the body and glass keeps road noise to a minimum. Fuel mileage runs around 33 to 36 mph. I would buy it again. No problems. The start/stop lockout is nice but the few times I forgot to use it you don't feel it start. Also the standard safety features are nice. Extra warning cameras work great. The front wheel drive handles great in the snow.

Encore GX Preferred, Solid choice
I have had this vehicle for 14 months now, put 18 K miles on it and really enjoy driving it. Ride is smooth, handles crisp and averaging about 32-33 mpg. Looks are deceiving, despite small size, interior has ample room for 4. With respect to gas mileage, I mostly drive car in FWD mode and haven’t needed to use AWD too often. Don’t know if that is reason I have been getting such good gas mileage. Mechanically reliable and continue to enjoy this vehicle. Also headlights are very good.

Only because there are no zeros
As a retired GM employee I can’t believe the low quality of my 2024 Buick Encore! The tiny control panel is extremely hard to see in the day light. The design that ended in 2023 had a much better layout and was more user friendly. Buicks are well known as the car of a retiree and should be laid out to be user friendly to an older person not a younger one who likes all the touch screen confusion.
