Sporty Luxury
Comfortable, sporty, and luxury in a single package. The sporty and classy look of the 4 Series Coupe caught my attention, and I knew it was the car I wanted after the first test drive. The 2.0L turbo engine is fantastic for someone who appreciates efficiency, yet wants reliable power to accelerate and pass. I can’t tell when the turbo engages- there is no lag. It is a perfect car for a commuter; add 2 more passengers and a full tank of gas, and the 3.0L six might be in order. I am two weeks into ownership, and so far am amazed at the perfect balance of sportiness, comfort, and surprising quietness of my 2015 428i. So far I am very pleased.
435i xDrive - They got it right!
This is my fourth BMW coupe and my favorite by far. It is powerful, yet refined, it can be a beast or a comfortable daily cruiser depending on what mode you put it in. Gas mileage is decent for a car with 300 HP, but Sport mode will of course decrease efficiency. I decided to custom order and get almost every option, including the M Sport Package. I test drove a "Luxury Line" and almost changed my mind about ordering the car - but glad I didn't since the M Sport just felt and looked 10 times better. Don't go cheap on the options unless they don't matter to you. I like the fact this coupe is larger than than before, it is actually a tiny bit longer and wider than the 3 series sedan.

Very balanced car
Ordered a 435xi luxury edition in sparkling brown with cold weather, driver assistance, premium and tech packages. The sparkling brown paint is lovely and depending on the lighting, it can appear black or purple too. The acceleration is quick and the car is fun to drive in sport/sport+ mode. I find the eco mode to be a little slugglish, especially after starting from a full stop. The engine auto shut-off is a nice feature and you can how much fuel you are saving by driving it in eco mode. The rear seats also have decent room for a mid sized adults. Overall, it's definitely an improvement over the 335 since it has a wider stance and it feels more sure-footed especially in fast corners.
Fun 2 Drive!
Bought the M-Sports cosmetic upgrade used. Once I replaced the 3 bent rims, the car drove great! Very easy to drive and I highly recommend the convertible. Will but regular tires on when needed as the run-flats are okay, but a little loud. Gonna put a can of Fix-A-Flat in the trunk because it will due the same thing as run-flats.
Nice Car (Still!)
Bought my 2014 428i 1/30/15. It has 54k on the odometer and no issues. Mechanically sound, fast and comfortable on short trips. The car still gets lots of compliments. Almost time to get into something different, maybe an SUV, but really don’t want to spend any money especially since this car has been great and there’s nothing comparable in appearance, fuel efficiency, sportiness and price because it’s paid off. Largest expenses have been brakes and rotor replacement, and 19” RFTs. Car is once/year dealer-maintained. Gets roughly 27 in the city and 35-36 on the highway. If the grill on the 2021 was not so LARGE, I may have bought another. I recently which over to regular tires because of the value and it turned out the quality of the ride improved.
