Best car I’ve ever owned
I bought a 2016 in 2020 with 12,400 miles on it. I love this car. It’s so quick its scary, and that’s in regular driving mode. Up it sport and hold on! I cant drive a stick, never thought I could have this much fun with this much comfort. I have a base model its a beautiful navy blue. While I’d like a power seat, and a sun roof, I got a great deal. I had traded my 2013 mustang convertible with a leaky roof and trunk. This car gets great gas mileage even though I have a lead foot. It costs abt $100 more a year to insure than my husbands luxury level Lexus 350ES (2019) The only thing that would make this a better car (for me) would be the convertible!!!

Great city car
no surprises - its a BMW and the convertible is a fun option
Fast, agile, smooth but
The BMW 2 series M235 convertible is a great small car, it’s fast, agile and well it’s a BMW. However, there are several things that are not great in it. I don’t care for the push button P for Park on the automatic shifter. I’d much rather move the shifter into Park then push a button and I have yet to find anyone that likes the push button. The trunk release button is in a ridiculous low hard to reach and hard to see spot on the lower left side of the dash. But my biggest complaint is the standard radio. The radio gets HORRIBLE reception. There hasn’t been a radio this bad put in an automobile in the past thirty years. It’s so bad that I did a test. I put my 1999 BMW 323i convertible side-by-side with my 2016 M235 convertible; my 21-year-old 1999 BMW got 11 FM stations. My 2016 BMW convertible got just two FM stations. I then pulled out a $29 AM/FM radio from Walmart and that radio got eight FM stations. The two cars and the Walmart radio were no more than 25 feet away from each other. No matter what configuration I move the cars or the radio the results were the same. There’s no excuse for BMW to put such a cheap radio in a $57,000 automobile !!! I would tell anyone out there to avoid buyIng a used Certified Pre-Owned BMW. BMW’s standards have gone way down and almost any beat up BMW under four years old qualifies now. Also the warrantee is no longer two years but only one. I’m a long time BMW owner that’s thinking of switching to Audi for my next car. Jim Fournier 06063 I had to select the 240 model BMW because the M235 was not listed.

Like a Rocket!
Love my car as much today as the day I picked it up! Rocket handles beautifully and I always feel very safe in this car. BMW really provides good customer experience that doesn't end when you first leave the lot with your new car. I unfortunately don't drive alot but when I do, its always fun. I have garaged and protected this car, its still in new condition.
