Roam to Zion and beyond
On my commute to Zion NP 39MPG. Returning downhill home 43 MPG. A delightful group of sweeping turns. Handled efficiently and pleasurable at highway speed. Power to pass and a feeling of true tracking and safety holding the road. Some road noise drowned out by the ELS 16 speaker sound system. Good traction on damp, wet and light snow covered roads. Bought cable chains for my 4,000 mile trip to the mid west in early Dec. Still in the box in spite of sloppy roads in Michigan and Indiana. With all the luggage in the hatch the car balances out and while slick bridges test traction. No sliding out of tracking in any major way. With cold temperatures and downhill grades or even on the flats of Nebraska gas mileage was incredible. Started this trip at 34,000 miles so the cars nicely broken in for hours and hours of day driving. Great night visibility with lights and automated high beams. Had to pass hundreds of semi’s. They ran at 70. Overtook them comfortably at 75-80. They saw me coming and adjusted accordingly. Returning home after 17 days on varied state highways and freeways my dealer called and offered me the same ASpec-Tech with no out of pocket in a new 2025 Integra. Now I’m breaking that one in knowing how reliable the 2023 was. Yea it’s pricey, but it’s the only thing I own. This is my way of guaranteeing safe and reliable trips to see the kids and grand kids. I miss my RSX and TLX from a few years ago. My memory of those 145,000 and 90,000 miles is fresh with economy and power. That’s why I have been a Honda guy recently. Lot’s of good experiences with Toyota’s and Lexus too. For now I’ve found my niche.

the perfect daily driver
i’ve only had my 24 integra for about a week but i have to say i’m quite pleased with my purchase. Coming from a 23’ elantra (don’t ever want to see a hyundai logo again), i was surprised to find that the elantra actually had more features than the integra! then again i bought a base model integra at msrp. the interior is nothing special, though i am impressed with the exterior styling. for those who are comparing this to another civic with 1.5t, this engine actually accelerates better than what is said online as it has a more ideal tune from the factory. Between this and the civic si and integra i’d go with the integra solely based on the exterior styling. The cvt surprisingly also does a good job of making this feel much faster than it is, as well as keeping it in its power band. once you get passed a certain rpm the power is there and its quite a fun and practical car.
