White with Cornsilk interior. Lots of room. Sturdy VTEX (that's VW for leatherette) interior.
Has a clutch, six speed manual shift transmission and the top three gears are overdrives.................
Which permits some really impressive fuel numbers.
(but the reader already knows this).
Driving the car is easy from steering, braking and acceleration (236 lb/feet of torque 1750 - 2200 RPM) standpoints.
Fold down the rear seats and there is the same cargo capacity as my 1982 VW diesel pickup!!
Altho' the electronic compass was delivered with a compass that read S when heading N,
the very capable dealership in California's capital provided a quick fix.

A really reasonable price for all the attributes of this little diesel wagon. (Only five inches longer than my old VW Rabbit Diesel pickup - - - which was tiny).
I am impressed (thus far).
Hopefully longevity will also be as positive as the rest of the car.

3400 mile update for this 2013 VW JSW 6M would show average MPG - as computed at Fuelly.com - at just under 44 MPG.
Driving is aprx 65% highway.
No problems - the North versus South compass reading excepted (and fixed by dealership) - with the vehicle to date.
10,150 miles now: 2013 VW JSW 6M continues with but one issue - it was delivered with the electronic compass 180 degrees out of phase (fixed by dealer - who recently completed the 10k first service in one hour).
Fuelly.com currently shows 44.5 MPG for 10,000 miles of aprx 65% HWY driving.
For $25,750 (prior tax, license and dork fee), this nice looking, fuel efficient and easy driving wagon continues to be a real positive.
