2008 AWD Journey - loaded. My current odometer reads 21k. I use the car as a second vehicle with a 75 hwy/25 city mix. My car has NEVER beaten 16 mpg since I have owned it. I have checked and double checked the nav system calculator as well as the dash calculator. 16 mpg is the number. In this day and age that number is shameful. Alarmed by this result, I ... Read More
Well its been around since 2008 and is going into its fourth model year now (2011). Typically, Infiniti does a mid-life refreshing at this point in their model cycles but based on what Infiniti reported as changing for 2011, nothing really is being done cosmetically to the EX35. Only thing changing is 7spd auto, some package changes, wheel and color changes among other small little changes.
I have been looking at a 2008 EX35, non-CPO, 25k miles, with Tech package, Premium package, Luxury Package, and Navigation/Camera package. Infiniti dealer is listing at $32k which seems outrageous for a used 2008 with this mileage. Any thoughts on what I should pay.
If rear seat legroom, power liftgate, and cargo space are important criteria, should you consider a loaded Murano? Luxury features like the Nav/Music Box, leather, etc are the same as the Infiniti's , but at a price comparable to the EX35. (and ~$10K less than an equivalent FX35). (I am only comparing the redesigned 2009 Murano, which started shipping in early 2008.) I know its not a luxury brand, but do ... Read More
Hi djrobsd. 43 months is an odd term, I suspect that the dealer meant 42 months. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 42 month lease of a 2008 EX35 AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00021 and 46%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. I'm not sure how much this factor increases for Tier 2 customers. Car_man Host ... Read More
Hi hgranda. Infiniti raised its dealer cash on the 2008 EX35 to $6,000 in June. Unfortunately, this cash is not compatible with its special lease program. The $1,000 bonus cash is however. Ah ha, I see that you did provide the selling price. I should have scrolled down before replying. Thanks for the info, pris1. The 2008 EX35 that you described probably has a spread of around $3,500 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. Plus Infiniti is providing a $1,000 bonus cash incentive on this model that brings the gap to around $4,500. You were quoted a discount of $3,175. ... Read More

Is it a good deal on 2008 EX35?/? Sticker price $41,475, OTD price $35,665.77. Another Dealer gave me OTD price $35,552. I want around $34,500 for OTD . Is it possible? Thanks for your input.
Hi mbrokerny. To the best of my knowledge, Infiniti's April incentives on the 2008 EX35 are exactly the same as its March incentives were. I suppose that it's possible that there was some extra bonus cash out there on models that have the Tech package, but I never heard anything about it. Back in May of 2008 I got a very good price offer from Metro Infiniti. Not sure what they offer now but I would try them.
You're welcome ad12. Infiniti Financial Services' current 39 month, 10,000 mile per year (the terms that are used in the advertised lease) buy rate lease money factor and residual value for the 2008 EX35 2WD are .00019 and 54%, respectively. Hey Rob. I've had a chance to take a look at the new April program. I'm not sure, p996, because the info that I provided earlier is definitely right. In March, Infiniti Financial Services' buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 EX35 Journey AWD with 15,000 miles per year were .00039 and 51%, respectively. Hi ix007. Infiniti Financial Services' residual values for the 2008 EX35 did drop by one point from August to September, but it lowered its money factors some to help make up for the difference. The ironic tone of the C & D article reminds me the days long way back, when GM officials were laughing about Outback. But time did prove that Subaru was right - an industry turns to crossovers. I think that manufacturers are very good about figuring out what will sell. Take a look at the RDX. While it is not in the same league as the soon to arrive EX35 they are still in the same "class".
