Brakes squeak and belts have to be greased monthly! Am told by my local dealer that the brakes squeak because all high performance cars do? Also told that there was nothing they could do about belts - it is a general motors issue - of course warranty has expired - SURPRISE!

Favorite Features

The car is certainly a head turner! It has a great feel on the road and city. For a sports car - very good mileage = and important issue today!

Suggested Improvements

My wife needed a new car - we bought a Lexus 350 - problem free and dealer great to deal with - anybody is great to deal with when you represent a great product - I'm sorry but buy the overseas products if you want quality!

My overall experience with this car has been positive, though I have had some problems with top operation. It is a lot of fun to drive. It turns a lot of heads when on the road.

Favorite Features

The adaptive cruise control and cooled seats.

Suggested Improvements

Add a Bluetooth interface, built in iPod interface, and improve the cooled seat option. The voice activated navigation system could use some refinements.

My Cadillac XLR is a real head turner wherever it goes. If it is in the same lot as a Porche or Mercedes-Benz SL500, people are only interested in the XLR.

Favorite Features

I like the heads up display and radar adaptive cruise control.

Suggested Improvements

My car has a very annoying rattle in the center console. A little better quality in this area is needed.

The Cadillac XLR is a great car, but it is just a bit small for tall drivers (I'm 6-4). Mine had several several system problems, but all taken care of under warranty.

Favorite Features

The styling and performance.

Suggested Improvements

It needs more leg room for tall drivers. Redo the trunk so putting it up in the rain doesn't dump water on my golf bag.

Review

My husband purchased my red XLR new as a present to replace another vehicle on the spur of the moment. We did not evaluate any other cars, Jag, Porsche, BMW, etc. I am thrilled with the car and loved it from the first minute I drove it. I get more thumbs up from other convertible drivers (Porsche comes to mind), teens, general passersby, than I ever have with another vehicle. This car is a beauty, comfortable, fun to drive, fast, and well designed. You'll really want to exceed the speed limit in this one, it is so smooth. The feel of a sports car with the comfort of a sedan.

Favorite Features

The headsup display is a nice feature. Converting to top-down is a breeze, but there isn't much room left in the trunk! I love the looks and styling of the car. Its interior design of electronics etc and location of features is well- thought out and functional.

Suggested Improvements

I wish the LCD was readable in sunlight, that presets were available on the radio, that it had integrated satellite radio reception, and that I could use the OnStar verbal dialing to phone with the top down. My car had a few service calls for faulty engine light codes. Also, the cargo cover needs improvement.
