Used 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan Consumer Reviews
Second one!
I absolutely love this car! So much so that I have recently bought my second 2016 Tiguan in a higher trim level. My first one, an SE which I adored, was totaled in a bad freeway-speed hit and run a few months back- and it kept me safe without even a scratch (physically anyway). I looked at so many other, newer cars, and in the end decided to replace it with an SEL. I had some initial electrical issues, now resolved, but beyond that I couldn't be happier with it. The Tiguan is neither pretentious nor sporty, but very good-looking, with an interior designed so intuitively that the arrangement of controls is exactly right and logical. The drive is smooth and quiet, yet it's still capable of bursts of speed and quick braking as needed, holding the road nicely. I've already indirectly addressed the safety features- this little, tough, spunky Tiguan cushioned and kept me safe when I was slammed into at 85 mph and spun across several lanes of traffic, smashing backwards into the opposite retaining wall. It isn't expensive to maintain or repair, nor is it a gas guzzler. In short, I can't say enough about the 2016 Tiguan.
