Large, slow and I love it!

2020 Toyota 4Runner
My 2020 4runner reminds of my buddy’s 1978 Chevy Blazer that he had in high school in the late 80’s. It was large, slow(inline 6, 3 speed on the column) and used a lot of gas but it was simple and reliable. No air conditioning but it had the electric rear window (like the 4runner) provided pretty good ventilation. I have lots of good memories of filling it up with camping equipment and … towing the ATV’s up north or a cooler full of beer to the beach. Flashforward 34 years; I am doing the same thing with my 4runner. I guess I never did quite grow up.
