2005 Scion xA
I bought My 2005 Scion XA with 159,000. Carfax revealed extensive "regular servicing". I paid $4,400 from dealer ask of $4,950 after Test Drive. All was good! No lights. No issues on the drive at all. Exterior and Interior looked great... and with New Tiger Paws!
I put about a $1000 into a Good "lookover". I replaced 3 belts as well as "immediately" changing clean conventional oil … to Mobile One (and matching filter). Air filters I do every 3k... no matter the brand. Doing 5k Oil Changes Using Mobile One Extended.
No issues! I attach my OBT2 Sensor every month, or two... No Codes!
<Knocking on wood. But... I'm AMAZED with the Performance of this Vehicle. After 160,000... NO LEAKS, No Oil Consumption, No Coolant Consumption... and Original MPG!!!
<Only issue... Gear Box takes time to learn (it's cheap). But once mastered... My 2005 is smooth... and flawless.
Get one of these cars if you still can.
