2022 Kia Niro EV
The Kia Niro EV is a smooth-running, well-designed compact SUV. Peppy and smart. Handles well. Shows 240-250 mile range on a full charge. Previous car was a 20-yr old Honda Accord, which I loved driving. This electric car is fun to drive, and part of the pleasure is zero emissions. It's also great to have all the smart features as compared to the old car.
One month in, and I'm very … pleased with the car. Not negatives, but some of the trade-offs include smaller cabin and storage space as compared to the Accord, which will be a limitation only the relatively few times I'm loading up a car for a trip, etc. Also, I'm not entirely confident with having a sealant to fix a flat tire instead of a spare, so I've purchased a spare-tire kit.
I'm very happy with the car and optimistic that it will be as reliable as my Hondas.
