2020 Hyundai Veloster
I wanted a sporty and fun to drive hatchback that also didn’t cost an arm and a leg. With gas prices reaching above $5/gal on average I wasn’t going to be able to afford 91 octane and only 20-25 mpg either. This little turbocharged car has as much power as the others and I’ve been averaging 34mpg over the last 3k miles I’ve driven. I haven’t been easy on the throttle either! This little … car doesn’t have the following that the Golf GTI or Civic R do, but it’ll keep up with them and cost significantly less upfront and at the pump! The tech is great along with the surprisingly spacious cabin as well. I’m glad I took the dive and chose this pocket rocket!
