2016 Hyundai Genesis
I enjoy the smooth ride and power of the car. We just got back from a family road trip. So far, we have no issue with the engine. However, we had to replace the second time the strips on top of the car from the outside. They don't seem to last long. The paint was peeling off. The first time, it was still in the warranty, but the second time, it was not. I think they used a cheaper paint … for this part. That's my only disappointment about this car. Everything else is perfect.
We have had this car since 2016. Surprisingly, the engine still runs very quietly. Sometimes, I couldn't tell if it was on or off.
Today is Jan 5, 2025. I have had this car for almost 10 years. The Genesis is running as quietly as a mouse. The ride is smooth, and the engine is nearly silent. Performance-wise, I have no complaints. However, Genesis should improve the exterior, particularly the paint, which has started to chip or fade in recent years. The interior still holds up well.
