Overall the look, size and drivability are good. The manual, on the other hand has absolutely no rhyme or reason or smooth transition from one topic or another. Use you tube. The most "scratch my head" design is the the drive mode select switches are flush with the console top. If you rest your arm or reach forward to pick up you drink from the cup holder you have likely accidentally changed your drive mode.

I’ve been eying this vehicle since it was announced. The small third row in the Highlander is what got me into a Honda Pilot previously. This new vehicle provides the space and comfort one expects in a mid-size SUV. I own the Hybrid Limited and I’m more than pleased with the functionality and performance. Before Winter I was averaging over 30 mpg. At over 7500 miles I’m loving my vehicle! UPDATE: This is my fourth Toyota and by far my favorite. I’ve been waiting for Toyota to come out with a 3 row SUV that had ample space for adults and cargo room. This thing more than hits the mark. Add in the hybrid powertrain where I’m averaging 32 mpg and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had it for nearly a year and just passed 15k miles.

Limited - looks a little cheap on the inside

The inside could be better. Felt removable pads inside of the door handles, flap behind steering wheel looks unfinished. For a "Limited" version I had higher expectations. Overall nice vehicle but some things could be better.

I came from four straight Highlanders and like the Grand Highlander much more. It is the best vehicle I've ever owned. It is also my wife's favorite vehicle she has driven. I am very happy with the purchase a year and a half ago and have not had one problem. I would absolutely buy again.

Driver’s seat squeaking loudly -Extremely annoying in a new car! Had dealer look at 4 times with no success fixing this. Platinum model -premium price, subpar manufacturing quality and dealer responsiveness. Very disappointed
