Ford Mustang 4 cyl to Toyota Corolla S
I decided to go for the plunge and replace my 93 4 cylinder Mustang with a 03 Toyota Corolla S. I was impressed with the fuel economy and safety ratings of the Corolla. Plus, I was tired of getting nailed each year on insurance with my Mustang, even though the 4 banger Mustang was extremely safe in collisions at normal driving speeds and didn't go very fast. Wow! Even though both cars are lightweight, get 30+ mpg, and have manuals, the Corolla is much quicker and the Corolla is more fun to drive. The Corolla also gets better mileage. After, I drove the Corolla, I immediatly jumped ship and said goodbye to the beloved Mustang.
Best Car I've Ever Owned!
Got this car used with 70,000 miles and it gave me no problems whatsoever. I drove this car from November 2008 until March 2010 and the only thing I had a problem with was the locks. This car is reliable, handles well and can last an eternity if taken care of it well. The only reason I don't have it is because it got stolen! =( but my next purchase will be a Corolla S Type once again. The Corolla S types built from 2003 to 2008 are gold!
No Buyers Remorse Here
This is the first new vehicle that I have purchased and have not had buyers remorse about (Thanks in partly to the Edmunds price guide). I truly feel that this vehicle is worth the price paid. Interior is modern and does not look or feel "cheap" compared to other models in this price range. The Corolla is a quality car inside and out. I would highly recommed it to anyone.
80k and no problems
I've put a lot of miles on this car and never had any issues with it. Other than oil changes, it has never needed service of any kind. I will definitely buy another Toyota--either another Corolla or a Lexus. Excellent car.
my frist 8,000 km eperience
good size, good match with fuel economy to power ignition key sticks sometimes in lock or wont turn unless steering wheel is turned to take preasure off if parked with wheels turned. everything else works as it should they should offer the 180 horsepower 1.8 engine on the "sport" model as a option. currently have 8300 km on it
