Used 2007 Saturn Outlook Consumer Reviews
A Bit Disappointed
I was really excited when I purchased this SUV. But after 6 months and 4000 miles later, I'm a little disappointed. There is a delay in shifting response with the transmission especially when going uphill. Delayed response even felt in the manual shift mode. The first update to the trany program was ineffective, no improvement. The fuel economy is really poor compared with the 17 city and 25 hwy. It's more like 13 city and 18 hwy.
Nice looking but that's it.
My wife loves the car but can't seem to find enough gas money. Fuel economy stinks! The layout is perfect for a family. The car has no power and is a nightmare in the snow or ice traction control is a joke! I would have rather bought a Tahoe better fuel economy and better performance!

Good for the Desert
Six repairs of sunroof leaks and three repairs of windshield wiper failures. Carpets replaced by dealer but mold is still present above headliner. Lucky I am still alive after wiper failures in heavy rainstorms. Battery has also died on me at least five times. I am embarrassed to admit that I am an American engineer. GM should be ashamed of themselves. Great design, poor execution.
GM got it right!
Finally General Motors has built a vehicle that is outstanding in every way. I read the review on the GMC Arcadia and went to my local Saturn dealer to see the outlook. I was very impressed. I went back a month later and drove one. That was it I was sold. This SUV performs like a car. Great power from the engine, great amenities, quiet and a well thought out design for the interior and exterior. Very comfortable on long trips. The HID lights, 19inch wheels, dual sunroofs are great touches that you don't see a lot in General Motors vehicles like this. They didn't hold back with this one.
Bigger - Sleeker Lexus SUV
When I first bought my Outlook, a month later I had an Electronic Control Module problem. But that was corrected immediately by the dealership. Since then, I have hadn't had anymore problems. I love my Outlook. It's a full sized SUV but the gas mileage is that of a small standard automobile. It sits up high with a smooth style and body that's awesome. It's like a bigger, less expensive, more sleeker Lexus SUV. An Eight Passenger Wonder! It's great! It will be a long, long time before I purchase another vehicle.
