We have owned it just less than a year and I feel it is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. Have had the tranny fixed through warranty (recall) and that has helped with fuel economy. Has lots of power and is great in the snow, handled a Canadian winter with no problem at all. We have travelled with 8 adults and all loved the ride and comfort. Relatives have the Pathfinder and Edge, no comparison in any category.

Excellent product from GM but...

Hard to believe this is a GM product. Looks and drives more like a Honda or Toyota. So far after 8100 miles the car has been solid with no problems. Steering feel is very good, handling is nice for a SUV of this size, and acceleration is good once you know how to goose the transmission. There is a significant issue with the design. The doors and rear window are high. Visibility out the back is very bad and makes backing up safely a challenge. My real world fuel economy has been around 17 city/21 highway. At 75 MPH plus, the transmission does hunt in and out of 6th gear.

Just put 5,000 miles on my new Outlook. Picked it up Tues and by Thurs nite we were on a roadtrip from Houston to Boston. The engineering is superb. Cruising at high speed feels like 50. And the seating is spacious and very comfortable. OnStar and XM are real treats. Absolutely everything works like it is supposed to. The 6 speed transmission and stability control turns this big boat into a responsive sports car. I really pushed it around curves on Skyline Drive in NC and was very impressed. We even slept comfortably at a rest stop. I'm 5' 7" and fit across the front seat while my kid snoozed in the back. Just put a pillow on the console. The Outlook is a winner.

Great SUV! Interesting design and confortable interior. A little heavy on the gas but it's not too bad. Superb cargo capacity.

We have had our Saturn XR for just over two weeks. We have just come back from a 2,800 mile trip with two of the grandkids. We could not be more pleased. The mileage on the road was almost 22 mpg with the car loaded down and the AC going the entire trip. No, it is not a powerhouse but I found that it has more than enough power to handle the mountains of Colorado and plenty of juice to pass without fear. The “manual shift" is activated by putting the gear into low. You then have the option to shift from first to sixth gear by pushing a clever thumb control up or down to handle mountain driving. We looked at everything and just could not resist the size, style and quality.
