I Love Love Love My 2019 Nissan Rogue SV AWD

I bought this 1 year used at a local dealer with under 18k miles. It was an Enterprise Rental Car originally. I have been so happy with this vehicle. The features, style and price were a perfect match for me. I can't believe how spacious it is, and how much cargo I can carry. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I could find the same deal, but I don't think that will happen since COVID it seems inventory is way down and prices up.

Great compact SUV - great value & reliability!

I purchased the '19 SV with the technology package new. This is my 4th Nissan and my second Rogue (previous vehicle '15 SV which was also bought new and currently driven by my niece). '19 has a lot of nice upgrades including the pro pilot assist (not perfect but definitely helpful on road trips) - very comfortable front and back seats, good gas mileage, rides nice on the highway - great car for the money. I selected the Scarlet Ember paint and I still get compliments periodically. Haven't done a long road trip yet but plan to this winter. My only complaint with prior Nissans has been poor paint quality - hopefully they've improved this in the newer models.

Not a drivers car, made for zombies

The rogue has many comfort features to like. But so man of the lauded aspects of it are just frustrating failures. The big glass roof is just a joke. Sunroof will only popup because it can't recede due to glass roof, useless waste of $$. The active safety constantly beeps And whines at the driver. You have to override the adaptive cruise control to get it to work like a real car otherwise your trailing a block behind the nearest car ahead and dropping back everytime another car takes that space. The power train is a failure. CVT should not even exist. The Durango V6 gets 30mpg hiway using an 8 spd transmission that is responsive and safe. When pulling out into traffic in the Rogue you are taking your life in your hands. The drive train just seems to release when you Push it for that extra power in a tight situation. I could never own one of these until they fix the drive train.

How Matters - Do not buy unless you like issues

Do not buy unless you like issues and spending hours talking to a non-responsive customer service. Just about all vehicles have issues but how you deal with them makes or breaks a company. Nissan customer service has just dropped off a cliff with software related issue that cannot be solved. Dealer told me to call Nissan customer service but now after 8 trips the dealer and nearly 8 hours talking to Nissan they are submitting my issue to engineering... Seriously? No customer should have to endure 8 hours talking to customer service (800 #) to have get a problem looked at by engineering when its repeatable and the dealer can make it happen. Nissan USA used to have great customers service but its now some of the awful and horrid customer service ever. Making dealers and customers waste their time jumping through unnecessary hoops to solve of the most basic solvable and repeatable issues is the worst I've seen from a vehicle manufacture in 20 years and from Nissan ever. I would highly... highly recommend that potential buyers look for a non-Nissan vehicles until they sort our their customer service issues. Until then, they seem to be focused on selling new cars and not making customers happy by solving simple annoying features that don't work.
