I have a 2008 Rogue. Have had for five years. Having acceleration problems. After driving on hwy..then stop at a stop sign..will not go. Very scary!!!! If you put a bad part on a car...they should fix it..no matter what! It had to do with the CVT Transmission

my car is in the shop -/+ 92,000, I should have read all these reviews but I needed a car and wasted 9000$ thank god there was an extended warranty in the vehicle. but its up soon and I am so scared this car will cause an accident and now I don't want to drive it. I really hope this helps someone deciding on a car do not impulse buy read this and save money. its worth it in the long run.

I bought February 2009 brand new, April I already started the CVT problems...the noise NOONE could here BUT me...1000 miles and I had the trans replaced, August 2009 AGAIN the trans had to be replaced, then we have the love Tire Press Light that no matter how much I fill my tires it never went off...again it was ME who was crazy. I just hit 40,000 miles and so far 2 Trans,4 Brand New Tires for $1k,front brakes $400, rear brakes another $400...n now my remote key stopped working, the "fixed both the key and spare....still not working, bluetooth never worked either! Thank god I claimed the Lemon Law or I'd really be unhappy!!!! Save your $$$$$$$ nothing but a headache!!!!

I have had my 2008 Rogue for 2 years and have put 47,000 miles on it.I drive every day 120 miles to work and back in norhtern Colorado where we get all types of weather snow, rain. heat etc. This vehicle has been nothing short of outstanding.I never worry about the heavy snow, rain, wind or anything on my way to work.I am as comfortable in the Rogue as I am in my Camry or my Altima.I have taken it on long trips in excess of 1400 miles and have loved the performance, gas mileage up to 30 miles per gallon(avg 28.4 overall for city and highway, ) This vehicle was assembled in Japan and the Nissan quality and craftsmanship show. The Tires are Continental and have 47,000 miles on them and are like new!
