I recently purchased this SUV and has been the best decision I ever made. Test drove and compared others including the Pilot, Highlander, Mazda CX9. The pathfinder outshines them all in interior aesthetics, comfort, cushioned drive and mileage. The almond leather on it is so good. I feel very proud as a owner and look forward to drive it every day.

I once loved this car...

I purchased my 2013 Pathfinder and feel in love with it. It was roomy, had great visibility for the driver and rode well for an SUV. Then all hell broke loose. I never felt the car shifted properly but have always told they couldn't replicate the problem(5 to 6 times)over the past several years. There have been many other unusual things like trim that fell off, had to replace the A/C at 50,000, had to have the radiator replaced because the transmission lines are permanently attached and many other major repairs. I'm so disappointed in my car, the dealer who lied, performed inferior work and now they won't stand behind the warranty for the transmission because it a couple of months past the extension they gave because they knew it had a problem. The service dept at one point even said this was a bad year for the Pathfinder.

With 2 kids now and carpooling I needed something with a third row. I love it because it's not totally huge but the inside (even the third row) is very roomy. I especially like the second row folds forward even with car seat in it. We got the car in Dec of 2012. We got one of the first ones in our state and When we got there they were still cleaning it up and saw them taking stickers off some of the interior that said Infiniti on them. Yes this platinum addition has the interior of a luxury car/SUV . Now on performance. The car drives great!!!! I have had the car a year and a half and have over 10000. I have had zero issues except for the recall on airbag and brakes.

There have been about 30 recalls. My front driver and passenger doors completely quit opening. I had to pay to get that fixed. Craziest thing ever. I was climbing out the back doors! The trunk on “auto” would not stop when closing. I was almost crushed. Nissan would not fix it. The catalytic converters went out. The A/C quit working. Hmmm what else! Pain in my butt since Day 1. I will never buy another Nissan.
