In the short time I have owned this vehicle , I have had to bring it in twice for a faulty passenger seat airbag. Once for the CVT computer . I have had to replace the rear liftgate shocks, a motor mount, and now two visors restricting visibility . Not to mention when the vehicle reaches speeds of approx. 70 mph the hood shakes and the latest driverside airbag recall. I am not impressed by the overall workmanship and Quality of the 2013 pathfinder .

I bought the 2013 Pathfinder SL on 11/26/2012. I started experiencing the knocking sound when accelerate the vehicle. I took it in to service, but the Technician could not hear it very well because it was snowy day with road noise. He told me to take it back at another time. I am planning to take it in again on my first oil change. It has about 1700 miles on it now. The car already had the Transmission Control Module re-programmed. I traded my 2011 Altima to Toyota and traded my 2011 Quest for this new Pathfinder I thought I gave Nissan another chance, but so far very disappointed. If they can't get rid of the knocking sound, I will get rid of the car in 2 years or before it's out of warranty and of course NO MORE NISSAN.

I have a 2013 , Nissian Pathfinder platinum and it is garbage. I hate myself for buying it. The features are great , but the quality is abysmal . Starting with the paint, it has never been damaged and I have 3 spots on doors where it is rusting out from under the paint mid panels. The paint guy said they over welded the stuff on the inside of the door and caused the metal to fail. I have replaced both visors because the hinge broke ( please note dealership wanted $350 per). I have had to replace all of the door handles ( all broke). The motor of the back hatch stopped working, the engine cooling fan bearing went bad. The drivers side seat motor went bad, the second row seat track stripped out of the floor. There is a mystery rattle from all doors ( I have taken then apart and re sealed all the wires but its still in one). All plastic covers fall off ( everything ) so I just glued them on . The drivers seat leather is cracking and the dome light in the back just stopped working ( I am emotionally broken and haven't fixed it yet). Oh and for some reason the antenna kept disappearing, I kept buying the Nissian ones to replace it, but finally bought some weird one and it has stayed on ever since. I hate it , but still owe about what it is worth so have to keep it another year . Now it has started this weird thing where the overdrive turns off an on randomly ( no I am not hitting the button) and then when you press the gas peddle it does not go , you have to take your foot off for a few and then press it again and it will work. It is a total piece of garbage.

worst car ever! everything is breaking down and I only had it for not even a year. 4wd is not working. I hate how when the sensor for 4WD is blocked, it won't allow you to drive 4WD anymore. don't waste your money on it.

I recently purchased this SUV and has been the best decision I ever made. Test drove and compared others including the Pilot, Highlander, Mazda CX9. The pathfinder outshines them all in interior aesthetics, comfort, cushioned drive and mileage. The almond leather on it is so good. I feel very proud as a owner and look forward to drive it every day.
