I bought this car in 2014. In the time that I have had it both front driver and passenger door handles broke. I had to replace them...$300 The electonic trunk is broken. It opens and then closes immediately, whether you are standing there or not...my son almost did not get out in time, so that feature is always off. Both of my visors, driver's side and passenger side screws fell out and the visors are now pinned up with clips...ridiculous! I just replaced a sensor because my care would not accelerate...$510...I have also spent another $1,200 getting things fixed...so overall over $3,000 in repairs... and YES I checked and called over and over to see if any of the repairs were recalls. I took it to the Nissan dealership I purchased it from and there was always a diagnosis fee. So I went else where, the diagnosis fees were free and half the cost of Nissan. I CANNOT wait to get rid of it. DO NOT BUY A 2013 PATHFINDER

1 st problem since day 1. Noise in rear end when turning especially on hills. They found nothing wrong 2. Paint peeled off the front bumper. Dealer repaired it twice. I called dealer owner they finally replaced the bumper. 3. Factory tires and brakes only lasted 12 000 miles. 4. Then the front end started making sounds. After 2 trips to dealer the finally found the transfer case was bad. I was 6,000 miles over my warranty. Nissan corporate agreeed to pay for it. $4300.5. Lots of recalls. 5. Finally, the noise in the rear end got worse went to dealer yesterday and its the rear end control assembly. I am 8,000 over warranty. Im not paying for it. Called nissan corporate and see if they will take care of it. We are a nissan family. I have never had trouble with a nissan. I owned a sentra, pathfinder, murano, this pathfinder, altima and judt bought 2012 murano for our vacation home. This will decide if i continue to be a nissan family. LIFE LESSON. NEVER BUY THE 1ST YEAR OF THE MODEL OF A CAR.

This is my 4th Nissan vehicle since 2003 and my first purchase. The previous three vehicles were leases and I enjoyed them all. I picked the '13 PF PL over the competitors for many reasons including: Nissan reliability, Nissan's CVT is the best among the other's out there, brand loyalty, standard features, ride quality, cargo space and technology. I have just over 1200 miles so the vehicle is over the break-in period. I am averaging 23.6 MPG with a 66 mile round-trip daily commute consisting of 90% highway and 10% city. I have not experienced one issue and thoroughly enjoy my new '13 PF. Build date is April 2013.

Throw the trainy off a cliff!!!

Today is April 25,2017. Bought my pathfinder January 2014. Took it in for the recent recalls (brake relay switch, cvt update, and airbag) well good thing they did the brake relay because it was fun driving and having people back way off because my brake lights were stuck on, and parked ignition off and the brake lights were still on. That's the small issue. My happy little vehicle is still in the shop getting it's now THIRD TRANSMISSION!!! Yes you read that correctly. My pathfinder was one of the ones with the faulty trainy. Took forever for Nissan to admit there was an issue, but once they did the trainy was replaced immediately with a refurb. Then the refund failed. Oh and now it failed again. 75k on the odometer however the trainy getting replaced right now has under 20k on it. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN
