WOW! I'm STILL impressed!!
I still having the "ride" of my life. I've owned the vehicle for a year and 5 - or so - months, now (let's hope I'm not jinxing it). I've had no major problems. Still a sweet comfortable ride and 'head turner!" What else can I say? Nothing..., but good things...

WOW, awesome car to own and drive, a true 4DSC!
I normally do not write reviews but I love this car so much I had to write a review. The car has smooth but aggressive styling, the Altima is similar in size but the Maxima has more street appeal. The power is fantastic, when you push the gas pedal the car really moves and if you want to save a little money it will get 33 miles per gallon at 70 mph on highway. Excellent interior, the seats are so comfortable and love the way the car wraps around the driver. My wife loves the growl the engine makes when you start the car and she tells me weekly how much she loves her Maxima. This is the best car I have every owned. It has been 3 years since we purchased our Maxima and STILL LOVE IT!!! We still get strangers in parking lots telling us that the Maxima is a nice looking aggressive vehicle. NO REGRETS buying our Maxima SR.

Maximize with Maxima
I purchased a 2016 Maxima one month ago and have driven it 3000 miles. I previously owned 2000, 2006, and 2011 Maximas, so obviously I am partial to them, primarily because they have excellent styling, good value, and you don't see yourself every third car coming down the road. My previous experiences have been mostly positive, so that has kept me coming back. First what I like about this car: It has great styling, very cool wheels, a classy interior, and loads of power. I don't know how they did it, but this car has ten more hp than my '11 Max, but gets nearly five miles per gallon better gas mileage. The car drives nicely, corners great, sounds throaty, and has less wind noise than my '11. I love some of the color combinations, and the whole effect is very classy. In fact, I prefer the styling to several of the much more expensive luxury brands. Now what could be better: the seats are ok for comfort, but the ones in my '11 were much preferable. The trunk is way too small for a car of this price. While wind noise is reduced, I find that Nissan could work on a quieter cabin from road noise. The placement of the accelerator requires you to turn your foot to the side, and the room for your feet is smaller than I like. Interior storage is minimal and could be better. But, I give the car at least a four out of five overall.

What in the world did I pay for
Yes, I know you don't buy a car just for all of the bells and whistles. Doesn't that add to the decision of your purchase? I traded a 2012 maxima for this beautiful 2016 Platinum. There are a few things that really bother me about the vehicle like stupid visors. They look like they were forgotten about and just had some thrown on. The curves on the outside of the visor are just in the right spot for the sun to come through when you use the slide feature. In the previous Maxima there was a sliding extender that worked very well for blocking out the blinding sun. That did not need to be changed. I also had a six disc CD changer that also included a feature that I could record my CD's and save them right there in the system. Now I have just one disc option . That did not need to change. Now the thing that really makes me upset with my purchase is the fact that all of the cool apps I was told about are not available on the TOP OF THE LINE, FULLY LOADED 2016 NISSAN MAXIMA I PAID OVER 42, 000 FOR. Talk about buyers remorse. if the little small things I thought I was getting could change then this would be the perfect vehicle. If I could turn back the clock a few months I would have kept my 2012 and waited until these stupid things were fixed. On top of all of that, there was a recall already on the fuel system/gas tank and after starting the vehicle there is an annoying clicking when I apply the break that I was told was something that I would just have to live with.

Love It!! Very Nice Redesign
I purchased the Maxima SL 6/30/15 and I love it! It certainly is a head-turner as it's a beautiful car. Running on the highway in sport mode is great although the cruise control "safety component" is something I'll have to get used to. I can't say anything bad about this car. Everything is great. Many complain about the CVT but I don't really notice a difference in this model. I think Nissan has improved it over the years. Test drive one and you'll be in love with it too! Still loving this car. I haven't put a lot of miles on it yet, but when I stretch it out on the highway it's a very comfortable ride, at least for the front passengers, and it has great acceleration. I haven't ridden in the back to give a review on that. There is nothing negative to say about this vehicle.
