First non premium name plate
I like having cars that are relatively unique. When I first saw the Maxima I was taken to the new exterior immediately. I went to a dealership and test drove the car. The interior is impressive. The quality of materials used is in line with other Luxury car manufacturers, the zero gravity seats are not as comfortable as I am used to but offer adequate adjustments. The easy entry feature for me is a must. I was surprised to find the Maxima had it. The layout of the dash, including the main display, push button start and the Nissan informant System is in line with my Porsche. The 7 inch display between the instrument cluster limits my need to take my eyes off the road to see my GPS and other important information, again like my Porsche. The quietness of the interior is amazing. The acceleration, and handling of the car exceeded my expectations. The Maxima is not a sports car as Nissan is promoting, but it is a true Luxury car. Put a Premium name plate on the Maxima and you would easily pay $15,000.00 + more. This is the best investment in a Luxury car I have ever made, and one of the best values on the market

Great performance and fun car to drive
I wasn't thrilled with the Maxima until stopped at showroom lot saw a Black SR Maxima this car looks better in person. I can't believe with my eyes that driving a Maxima it has lots of new extras in it's class. I love the camel interior it's design is better with fit and finish materials are upgraded. Fact love that the Maxima has Normal and Sport mode it's more responsive pressing the throttle as this car got the power and guts driving it. There is every available option this vehicle was worth every nickel and penny excellent sound system it's more comfortable seems be a luxury cruiser. I'll give Maxima thumbs up including 5***star ratings on everything. I am not a fan of CVT but this would be one car to drive with its 300 hp engine the Maxima picks up speed quicker than ever handles like a Cadillac. Seems as its more safer driving love audio and navigation settings even console center buttons pressing as don't feel like dealing with the Navi plus other things for audio reminds me of a Mazda and Audi with this optional. Overall absolutely love this car looks handsome in and out especially the new design interior such a nice cockpit sitting behind the wheel as passengers would love the comfort of zero gravity seats and more.

Do Not buy a Nissan Maxima
After much hype, we purchase the 2016 Nissan Maxima. We purchase it in the end of October. We have had it in the shop 6 times for electrical issues and rattles. We have escalated the issue to Nissan with no resolution. They have the worst customer service. This is a very very bad car. Do not purchase one. Buyer beware! I won't by another Nissan the way I have been treated.

Panoramic moon roof and other defects
I was a happy owner of a 2016 Maxima believe made a huge mistake getting this car. This car was last purchased on 8/25/15 now I'm having problems out of the panoramic moon roof and memory seat position not remembering. Also noticed that whenever slowing down 30 mph transmission jerks hard took into dealer I was told the transmission is shot as with taking back to dealer again for the panoramic moon roof. Don't get me wrong really like the car but not satisfied with all of issues having out of it now its at the dealer overnight for a transmission replacement as with fixing panoramic moon roof. Thought Nissan was one of the best vehicles ever this definitely going to be my last one period. Can't believe brought a new car with few defects now the dealer is letting me loan a Rogue until get a call from dealer saying what Nissan will tell them. Seems Nissan doesn't stand behind their products because when talked with them but no help but it will be ok guess this car might be a lemon want to give it back after starting off having few defects even a new transmission with fewer miles putting on motor not pleased with a defective vehicle.
