Used 2016 Nissan Frontier Consumer Reviews
Lacked Asscessories
We purchased the Nissan Frontier base model without power windows or door locks. We are in our 70's, and that was a mistake. We had vehicles like that when we were you and thought it would be no problem. It was. Two months ago I was driving by the Toyota dealer and they had the same truck, 2017 Frontier SV with those features. I drove in and traded truck. Over all I like that truck.

Just Awesome
I have the Pro-4X manual, it is an awesome truck. It is the only truck available with a manual and a V6 engine. If you want power but to row through your own gears this truck IS the only option. An excellent thing about this truck is that it has a screen, but it's not a 55" TV in your front seat. Watch the road not your dash. I've rented cars where the screen lights up the whole car practically giving you temporary night blindness, this vehicle does not do that. One down side is that the maps may go out of date and there is a charge to get updated maps through a 3rd party company that many auto manufactures use, but that is everyone. And the fuel economy will be lower than a 5 speed Tacoma with a little 4 banger, but this is a V6. I'm sure a Corvette is going to lower fuel millage than a Geo. That the nature of having the ability to haul and have power. I definitely recommend having the 6 speed.

Worth it for the money
I have a 2016 4x4 Crew Cab Frontier with 13,000 miles. Overall it's been a pretty good truck. The first Nissan (Datsun) truck I purchased was in 1977. My only issues and they're relatively minor. I have the V-6 with the 4 speed automatic. Before I've always had manual transmissions. .Going up moderately steep hills it seems to shift up and down the gears frequently. When trying to slowing and carefully move to negotiate an object, ie., in or out of a parking space, etc. as I slowing apply the gas the truck will suddenly begin to move. With only 13,000 miles there are one or two annoying squeaks on the frame or body. The center consul is so deep it's like a bottomless pit. When sliding heavy objects out of the bed the plastic cap on the top edge of the tailgate gets caught and comes off. After a few times it doesn't clip back in.

Great truck. Great price. 💰
The frontier is a great truck. Not luxurious, But it's a proper work truck. I drove over 320+ miles with one tank on my first day. Only complaint would be the fact that there is AC controls and it blows air. But the truck does not blow cold. Base model is more affordable, but the next model up may be a better fit for most. 🙂

Fantastic suspension
I bought mine in 2016 and have not had any problems with it since. I use to own a Ford Sports Trac before and find the suspension on the 4 Pro far sturdier then the Sports Trac.
